  1. OR when the requirements changed, they were not aware of the updates, possibly? LOL bon voyage
  2. Per the US Embassy in Spain: U.S. citizens can travel from the United States to Spain if they show that they are vaccinated against COVID-19, or have a recovery certificate , or show a negative diagnostic test result (NAAT or RAT) performed either within 72hours prior to departure to Spain for a NAAT (e.g. – PCR test) or within 24 hours prior to departure to Spain for a RAT (e.g. – rapid antigen test). In health and bon voyage
  3. I charge my clients accordingly for my increased costs... It matters not, to me, if it is either a flat increase or a % added on i.e. service charge. I have absorbed enough of the increases passed on to me and it is time to pass it on to the clients and I do. bon voyage
  4. Okay, for arguments sake and interpretation, below is the 'Official' response from X today: Thank you for contacting Celebrity Cruises. For your inquiry about the protocols for the test in Barcelona is the following information: For Unvaccinated Guests: Must present either a negative Antigen test taken within 1 day of sailing or have the option to be tested at the Terminal prior to Embarkation.  You can advise your friend she must be tested 1 day prior to the sailing date. Sincerely, Celebrity Cruises Thank you everyone for your input and we shall see how solid this is through boarding day... bon voyage
  5. It is definitely health... how severe it is, I cannot say. I Am into holistic medicine as well, yet I Am into travel even moreso... LOL In health and bon voyage
  6. Thanks jg I would like to get it resolved in our favour as if this person cannot go, there are five (5) others associated with her who will not go... then again???? LOL Thank you and bon voyage
  7. ... and that d' truth... nothing like trying!!! LOL bon voyage
  8. j_i thank you for these links.... I did view them initially and that is where the status concerns came up because there is no real differentiation or explanation as to "who" qualified for being un-vaccinated for testing and boarding purposes... In health and bon voyage
  9. Well, I have to catch up to you l... How could I have permitted you to pass me up like this!!! LOL Thank you regardless... bon voyage
  10. j_i: the countries we will be porting in are Barcelona, France and Italy... From my reading of the current protocols, all of these countries no longer require testing to enter, as of today that is... LOL Thank you again and bon voyage
  11. HAHAHA, not me, I have a TA and email to use... The sailing is not until Sept 2023, lots of time to wait for either a response or change in policy... In health and bon voyage
  12. Thank you all... My next challenge is interpreting X's website concerning non-vaccinated passengers being allowed to board in Europe. In one (1) section of the web page it states that un-vaccinated passengers will only be required to have an antigen test within 24 hours of boarding or at the terminal and on the same page it says 'All passengers' are required to be vaccinated before boarding... LOL One person in our group is not vaccinated due to health reasons and I promised to get a definitive answer, for now, until it changes again... LOL In health and bon voyage
  13. I have looked and will do so again, I Am looking for a forum or discussion area for a 'current' ports/countries list where vaccinations and proof are required to enter. If someone could point me in the correct direction on this, I would be most grateful... TIA and bon voyage
  14. l - Yes, we sailed out of Bayonne to Newport, RI (where I thought of you), Bermuda and Charleston, SC.. nine (9) days... Very nice... Thank you and bon voyage
  15. Yes, then the next big issue that many potential passengers will have, 'my online payment was not credited correctly or mis-applied' what is the reason that X cannot build a website that posts payments properly...' etc, etc, etc... Is there any cruise line which accepts on-going payments on-line beyond the initial booking does anyone know? bon voyage
  16. Nope, not yet.... Still patient, as my sailing is not until Sep 2023, no rush on this side until Jly 2023... bon voyage
  17. Does your plan B offer "...a great fare." also??? Good luck and bon voyage
  18. ... you forgot to include the Head Honcha LLP... LOL bon voyage
  19. Yeppers, that will take a call... bon voyage
  20. j Just like the IV's... bon voyage
  21. I Am thinking you can only call as your fares will change and etc... OR if you booked through a TA, they will be ones who will do it for you. Good luck and bon voyage
  22. Yes, I have a gripe that my email from last week about my sailing in Sept 2023 has not been responded to yet... LOL Oh well, guess I will have to wait a bit longer to see if they do respond, if not I will come back and let everyone know for sure... bon voyage
