  1. Was there a PUP in November? I'm usually pretty good at completing them and I'm missing November
  2. Yay! Wish we could have pictures from this since there is so much negativity about the OVC dinner, but I understand that each event can't be a photo essay. ☺️ Thank you for sharing your journey! I'm really enjoying it.
  3. Hate to pile on, but MORE good news about DINNER in the OVC currently on Equinox. Another buried comment no one cares to see. Also, just listened to a podcast that said our brains prefer bad news to positive news.
  4. Used flights by celebrity and saved hundreds per person. Chose to pay at final payment. Could choose our own seats on the United app and British Airways app and we still earn miles on the flight. We booked very early. Flights are now over $1000 pp higher than when we booked last August for our July trip to Athens. We used them last year for flights to Rome and had no issues issues and saved.
  5. Yes, he would definitely fit right in on Celebrity!! Handsome kid!
  6. We took our 16 yo daughter last summer on Celebrity to the Mediterranean and she LOVED it! We even joked to one another this morning "meet me in the spa cafe". She is like your son - likes to chill by the pool, listen to music; etc. She did meet other kids on the cruise (as your son likely will during spring break) and they still have a group chat together. We enjoy the finer things and Royal Caribbean is not our vibe. I don't want anything with water slides and go carts. 😵‍💫 It is YOUR vacay too!!! Enjoy! We are taking her again this summer to Greece
  7. Yes, maybe it should have said, "Alexa, book now for the best selection" or "Siri, book now for the best selection"?!? ☺️
  8. True! And the poster did note that they can only report on what was happening on that particular ship (with pictures). Maybe Celebrity is listening!!
  9. Wow! That is awesome and you are so lucky to be able to go on so many adventures!
  10. Exactly what I mean! For every negative review there is a positive one, but people love a scandal, a whisper, they love to see people and companies fall from grace!! I did not want to say it is human nature. Maybe I am in denial? But, instead of piling on the negative - let's highlight the other majority of us that liked our Celebrity adventures!
  11. Well, my grandfather was a baker from Italy and owned an Italian bakery. I grew up visiting and helping him in his craft. He was not a baker, but an artist. I appreciate every baker's work in their craft. I've enjoyed gourmet desserts and I've enjoyed desserts made by myself in my kitchen at midnight (sshhhhhh)! The entire point of this post is to ENJOY!!!! LIFE!!!! And we should stop holding ourselves back from worldwide adventures bc someone may not like a cake in the OVC. I'm sorry but when I'm plowing my way through Italy, France, Greece, Turkey, Scotland - my last concern is the food in OVC but things seem to be alright!!!
  12. And wine, you forgot the wine. Cheers! ps he also mentioned turkey carved off the bird, stuffing, mashed potatoes, etc. etc.
  13. Don't let the negativity drive you away. Why not go on your trip and decide for yourself? Here is a post from another thread:
  14. Nevermind then, commence complaining 😵‍💫 The complaining is that things are going downhill and it's awful and the sky is falling....but yet those that post menus or positive things are brushed aside....just as this post was....
  15. Someone just posted pics of the OVC on Valentine's Day on the silhouette and it's shocking! It's shocking because it looks fabulous! Amazing desserts, carving stations, even a free wine tasting! Get the smelling salts! Let's balance out the doomsday negativity with some positive experiences!!! ❤️🥰
  16. I did this itinerary in 2018 and was the best trip of my life. You will enjoy it. Every morning felt like Christmas morning, waking up in a new destination. With six countries (7 if you visit the Vatican), it is a great way to get a taste of the Mediterranean. by the time we got to Corfu, we were so exhausted that we spent the day sitting in a cafe along the Espalanade just people watching, morning cappuccino turned into lunch and beers and we just people watched. One of my favorite memories and these will happen organically and can't be planned. if you want to splurge on some ports but save on others, then I would do my own thing in Dubrovnik as you can easily walk the wall on your own and Kotor can easily be done on your own. Venice is another city that doesn't need a shore excursion as many people will say "just get lost" in Venice. Be prepared for a lot of walking on this trip. We had 2 formal nights. I'm jealous! Enjoy!!
  17. I found out you can link accounts with your spouse and, whoever has the most power points, then you both will have the same amount of higher points.
