  1. Yeah I tried to take it off. I may be wrong about that but I thought I saw it somewhere in some obscure place...but then again...
  2. Yes, I've seen it, trying to find the pic of it now.l
  3. Attention to details, finalizing deco etc. trouble shooting things for a few days. Just hope Chris is able to show us more in the next few since the jigs up.
  4. Current drone vid on Royal Caribbean you tube is awesome. Rover looks to be around 4 months old based on our dog. So still a puppy! Based on the Crown Edge video here, they'll have to rethink the upcharge! No better than the Zip Line! I bet it ends up being free.
  5. Well that was exciting! Been watching since 6:00. Got to see just where I want to be at sailaway! I was holding my breath in the basin, she just looked so big, but since Symphony turns there all the time...no sweat! Now to go check out all the vids on You Tube, have a nice day ya'll!
  6. Heads up, our Sept. 13 Icon lowered the Hideaway Beach day pass again today to $54.99 pp I called and got the new price. Just letting you know to check your planner! 🤗
  7. A Golden, love Goldens, our Buck passed over the rainbow several years ago...I'll have to look Rover up!
  8. I'd rather have the chill subdued music at the adult Hideaway than Lagoon pool. They can play anything, they are just rockin out for the crew is my guess! I hope we have smooth jazz and new age spa so we can relax with no kids!
  9. My excitement is at fever pitch! Cannot wait.....it will be a hard summer for us. Love the new vibe in Central Park.

  11. I think she'll fit the bill for even those of us who aren't sliding down slides, surfing or gliding around. That's the key to her design, something for everyone. I'm looking forward to relaxing in the Cloud 17 adults only pool, the Cove pool or Swim n Tonic pool or the Hideaway pool or the longest pool ever, Bay pool... all whilst the kiddies are safely ensconced down below in Surfside or waiting on the stairs for the slides. I don't anticipate any kiddie interruptions to our chill up top. And then there's the Overlook lounge up front by the Aqua Dome, just chill away watching the sea...So much to do, it may require a B2B!! Gotta love it.
  12. That looks mighty tasty, but how much???$$$ We have quite a bit of OBC coming, maybe able to swing it.
  13. We haven't been able to get our discount in the last 4 or 5 cruises 😭 So they have effectively negated that bene lately.

  15. I agree, we have a 5 day shorty from Galveston so we could get through the year long wait for ICON! I'd do Utopia any day! I wouldn't miss any of the stuff you mentioned...been there done that multiple times. In fact one Quest was all it took.
  16. There is no way they will ever get $90 out of us for that!
  17. I'm spending mine like it's water. I'm on borrowed time and I can't take it with me. I only have enough time for approximately 20 more cruises....bad genes!
  18. They are more than adequately compensated...or they would stay home with their families and work. I've had many of them tell me it's way more lucrative on the ships. Then again, I had one maintenance crew tell me he only made 50 cents a day...grain of salt!🙄
  19. We do help them collectively.....every cruise they get assessed gratuity and more from our hand to theirs.
  20. That's why I'm thinking they will eventually have t lower the pricing after the hype is over.
  21. All the newer ships, even with Carnival are outrageous. Jubilee which just premiered had their insides at $3300+ for 2 peeps, I just priced them hoping they'd be better than RCCL, we haven't paid that pricing except on Celebrity in years. And our ICON sailing was only $2400. The general economy is the culprit...and I won't say more about that subject! Grrrrr.😡
  22. I believe, based upon history, the pricing will eventually come down, after all if they could offer the first couple months bookings at the lower price last year, why not next year. I think it's a case of waiting to see what the market will bear in the coming months. We could not book ICON now, at almost triple what we paid last October 2022. Monitoring now to try to get our Grandson and friend an inside so they can go with us in September, just not seeing anything affordable for them. But hoping that by July after payment due, the prices may come down. Just a guessing game at this point.
