The offerings usually differ a bit from ship to ship. Even if you've seen a particular movie before, it's quite the experience to see it on MUTS! Many people may not be aware...but they offer popcorn, usually down on the pool-level deck near the screen area.
Yeah...they really try to steer everybody towards doing EVERYTHING on the app...and it's just a lot easier for some things on the "web version". Go into your Cruise Personalizer and select your booking. Scroll down just a bit until you see:
Click on "Try our web version". I always do the dining reservations this way because it's so much easier to see everything!
We just finished a PC partial transit on the Caribbean P about 3 weeks ago. It was our first time on her, having been on quite a few of the "newer" ships...nothing to complain about. The Skywalkers nightclub is really interesting sitting way up above the aft...very nice views during the day.
Personal experience tells me that this is way too tight. We missed a connection and Air France had to put us up in an airport hotel. Thankfully, it was on the back end after our cruise!
You did not say whether you were using the app on your phone or the "web version" on a laptop/desktop. I find it much easier to work with on the web version...
Saturday I was having strange issues with getting logged in to look at booked cruise excursions. Logged in fine (supposedly), got into Cruise Personalizer and as soon as I tried to see *any* excursions I was suddenly showing as logged out and could not see anything. This persisted for several attempts...I came back about an hour later and all was "normal".
(Using Chrome primarily but did try Firefox once...no diff)
I did a bit of research into the "group vow renewal" bit...here's what I came up with in case there are any doubters out there that believe *all* renewals are "private":
Princess Cruises Sets GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ Title for Largest Multi-Location Vow Renewal

As you are checking out to pay for an excursion, there *should* be a checkbox (pre-checked) that says "Use OBC". Just uncheck that and you should be good to go. You have to really be looking for it!
The people who are making these calls try very hard yo give you the impression that they are actual Princess reps...they are NOT. It is (probably) a firm called "Princess Promotions" who actually *do* have some type of loose business association with Princess (hence the reason that they know all about your cruise history and such) but it is not directly under the "Princess Umbrella". Personally...I don't care how good a "deal" might sound...I refuse to do any type of business via a "cold call" contact.
I cannot give you a "first-hand" answer to this one...but we have been successful in getting an excursion that was marked as "sold out" pre-cruise simply by going to the excursion desk once on board.
I hope this does not discourage you...but I have never heard of anybody ever being successful in getting an excursion after being waitlisted. A couple of times (for us personally) a given excursion was "sold out" pre-cruise but once on board we just went to the excursion desk, asked about it and were sold tickets.
For my CPAP I just pull the bed out and access the European style 2 prong outlet located there. I carry an adapter which lets me plug in the lamp which is normally plugged in at that location and it gives me a US-style outlet for my CPAP.
So....
They are going to pick and choose who they are going to invite to spend money that they know you don't want to spend...and YOU know you don't want to spend. I feel so left out...I think I NEED one of these books to be fulfilled!
