  1. If you select a cabin during booking for either 3 or 4 people you should only be shown those possibilities. Once past that point you can click on the categories and see the actual layouts.
  2. We saw this on the Northern Europe "Oktoberfest" cruise back in October (obviously!) 2022. Yes...we thought it was pretty good.
  3. Several people have mentioned about your bags "magically being delivered to the airport". That is NOT normal. It is a special service that you pay extra for...if in fact it is even done for Vancouver. I know they do this for Seattle. It is called EZCheck...extra charge service. Personally (and I'm VERY cynical about things like this), I feel like it's just something that "can go wrong". I try very hard to minimize things that can go wrong! I'm sure there will be those who will chime in and say I'm being ridiculous and that they have done it many times. Great (for them). To each his own...I prefer to be in control of our bags through as much of our trip as possible.
  4. The OP said in their first post that they were in an inside cabin.... no suite.
  5. Like I said...I cannot speak to a disembarkation at Vancouver...but *generally* all passengers walk through the luggage collection area at most ports (at least all of the ports that *we* have been to.)
  6. Oh...and welcome to Cruise Critic! (I meant to include that in my previous post!)
  7. Having your luggage collected the night before is always an option for any guest. The *fastest* (in my opinion) is self-disembarkation...but you have already stated that this is probably not in the cards. Are you *sure* this is not feasible? You did not state where your flight leaves from...is it Vancouver or Seattle? I have never arrived/departed from Vancouver so can't directly address this. Getting a Princess transfer to the airport (while potentially a bit pricey) somewhat alleviates the concern over disembark time.
  8. There are a million adapters available on Amazon that convert the 220 volt 2 prong to US-style...along with USB ports and such...but there are not as many that provide this "in-line" style that allow you to plug in the nightstand lamp and continue to use that. You (generally) do not need a USB plug behind the bed...those you need at the desk.
  9. Yes...you should find a "European" style 2 prong 220 volt outlet behind one of the beds (could be either one...) I use an adapter like this which allows you to plug in whatever *was* plugged into the wall as well as give you a US style outlet for a CPAP or even a small outlet strip. (If you use an outlet strip make sure it is NOT a surge protector style!) https://www.amazon.com/European-Adapter-Adaptor-Countries-Netherlands/dp/B008JCVF0U/ref=sr_1_19?crid=2YC72VL0V3Z7G&keywords=schuko+plug+adapter&qid=1676657828&sprefix=schuko%2Caps%2C114&sr=8-19
  10. Yep...make sure that EACH has an order placed for that "stinkin' medallion"! 😄
  11. Another item to check for is the "Emergency Return Airport" in the app. If that is not populated you will not show as "Green Lane".
  12. Another place to check is on a Roll Call for that itinerary...
  13. I'd bet you could get it added on board...
  14. You will definitely see *some* cruisers commemorating the day...not all by any means. Depending on the itinerary you might see more. If you feel so inclined...by all means...throw in some green!
  15. Whatever it is...it only shows up on phones (apparently). It does not show on a desktop/laptop.
  16. And...they're not "following" their own posting....
  17. Well...you've already done the "big" ones! I really like the White Pass Railroad and also very much enjoyed the helicopter flight to glacier in Juneau. The Lumberjack Show in Ketchikan is very entertaining...it does not take a lot of time. The cable car in Juneau to the top of the mountain is also interesting. And of course...whale watching (depending on time of year.)
  18. It depends on what the reason for cancelling might be. And...are you past the official "full payment date"? If it is medical then you will most likely need to file a claim through the AON insurance. If not medical...not sure. Either way, I *think* you should be reimbursed back to FCC...but it may take a while.
  19. Your best bet may just be to call in and get it reserved...
  20. Does the new cruise show up in the online cruise personalizer (NOT the app). If it shows properly there just give it a couple of days as everybody else has stated. Now...if it does NOT show up there...maybe there really is a problem.
  21. Welcome to Cruise Critic! As @Guindalf has stated...you should really consider changing to a later flight. One way to get an idea as to what is considered "acceptable" is to go into your cruise personalizer in the travel section and just look at the flights & times suggested. If you were to book using EZAir...these would be the minimum times that *they* consider as doable. The port/airport are not that far away...but all the planets & stars would need to align *perfectly* along with a tad bit of luck to be "safe". Why create all that extra stress? Don't mess up your great cruise right at the end with something like this. Have a great cruise!
  22. There's just something about cold calling that rubs me the wrong way...
