  2. Possibly...but I still think that Princess switched to a lower class of service coming out of the pandemic. Internet on almost all ships was much better pre-pandemic except for the obvious location constrained spots around the globe.

  5. Nope...this is a programming error or server crash/malfunction. I would hazard a guess that the excursion system is housed on a database server which is separate from the bookings database. Somebody has thrown a monkey-wrench into the pot and the calling routine is not getting anything in return. It looks like maybe they have suppressed all error messages, too.

  8. Hey...my first "real" job was business systems repair. When PCs first came out I remember installing disks similar to that..at that kind of price! (That doesn't date me does it...?)
  9. Yeah...they need to have someone look at all of their boilerplate email messages and see if they still apply. The application time of stockholder benefits has changed from abysmal to very good in the last month or so.
  10. *Most* people report that they get an email...but don't count on it. This appears to be in flux now that they are changing the rules and *say* that they are going to start charging to mail. I've yet to hear about anybody here on CC that has actually been charged...but you can bet that if Princess says they are going to charge...they will!

  12. You could print up your own seat reservation tags and sneak in to place them on your desired seat(s). But....don't hold your breath! 😄
  13. If you really need that 3rd internet package you *should* be able to purchase on the app.
  14. We've never been directed to another dining room/time but have never been turned away due to a different reservation. Maybe we've just been lucky...or, as I suspect...they just aren't going to say anything to "cause a scene".
  15. Let's clarify something here...did you book the cruise with the Plus fare option or was this an "add-on" to the basic fare? The naming has always been a bit of a confusion creator!
  16. If you go the power adapter route you will find European style outlets behind the bed. This is what I do every cruise...

  18. You are not "locked in" with dinner reservations. If possible...you might call the dine line on board and tell them of your plan to switch...but nobody is going to lose any sleep over this (at least on the Princess side!) nor is anyone going to come looking for you and haul you back to your original location!
  19. I wouldn't wait for a return call...it may never come! Call again and hold until you can speak to a real person. I'm assuming that since you were calling Princess direct that you booked directly with Princess. Too bad...a TA could set all of that up for you, although you would have to pay the entire balance immediately...as in during that phone call probably. To reduce your hold time call Princess right when they open in the morning...check the times listed on the main Princess web page and adjust for time zone if needed.
