  1. Our cruise is next week. I called RCI and they are out of them. Poo
  2. I would like to have two of the RCL Alaska blankets in my nephew's cabin for his young daughters. I don't see on the cruise planner a way to pre purchase them. Can someone point me in the right direction please?
  3. They charged me $3 extra for my ride coming up on July 14. Mine weighs less than 50lbs.
  4. We are treating our nephew, his dw and two dd, (9 and 12) to their first cruise Seattle to Alaska in July on OVS. Any tips on a great deck/spot for sail away?
  5. I really appreciate all the responses to my question. You folks are the best!!!
  6. Ty for this. I booked through the cruise line so I will give them a call or check with shore excursions as soon as I board. Don't really trust the nice folks on the phone🤔
  7. I use a heavy duty walker for stability. I will need it to get from ship to excursion bus in Juneau. I do not need it once on board whale watching vessel. Does anyone know if they have room to stow such things?
  8. I would like to hear how this went as well. I am concerned that I may cancel excursions because with my bad knees I done know if I can walk from cruise ship to excursion bus.
  9. This is exactly why I want to know who to slip a nice preemptive tip to! Ty!!!
  10. Yes, that would be my hope that they take me off the ship and up the dock to the excursion bus and then return. It is often a long walk off the ship to the busses. I have planned excursions with limited walking but often just getting to the bus is the problem.
  11. Oh gosh no! They take me up the ramp on embarkation day as the ramps can be too steep for me. They use their chairs and a crew member to push and I thank and tip generously. The dock in Juneau is quite a distance and incline up to the excursion busses. Was wondering if they could provide assistance.
  12. Ty. I should have mentioned this will be an Alaska cruise. I know the Juneau dock will be too much for me. I can rent a wheelchair but hate to have the tour company stow it and for it to take up room in the cabin when I think I will only need it in one port.
  13. I don't require a wheelchair in my daily life, but the length and incline at ports like Juneau and Skagway are going to be too much for me. We will be on Ovation of the Seas in July to Alaska and I'm hoping I can get an assist from a staff member with one of their chairs. Our excursions are such that I don't need a wheelchair once on the bus. Ty
