    Fabulous information! Ty so much! This will be our 5th Alaskan cruise and on only one did we go to Glacier Bay. The highlight of all the trips! Hubby would have been so disappointed if we couldn't get into Johns Hopkins due to lack of research. Now it's up to the weather Gods! We have booked Royal Princess for later in July.

    Ty. Hubby was reading an article that said the inlet to Johns Hopkins was closed May and June due to seal pups. Old article tho. Hmmmm

    We are thinking of booking Royal Princess the first week of June next year. DH seems to think we won't be able to get as far in Glacier Bay as to see John Hopkins Glacier. Would love to hear of any experiences with this. Tyia

    I just booked my first Princess cruise on the Royal for Alaska next June. Looking forward to your review of the ship, food, etc. Ty for doing this!

    Yikes! I just reserved my first Princess cruise and got a cabin and location that is ideal for so many reasons. If I tell my TA to mark it "no upgrade" is there still the chance Princess might do it anyway? I've never had this happen on another cruise line.

    Absolutely agree! I have bid a total of 3k for both of us to move to a CS or RS. Booking flat out would be 10-13k more. No way! If my strong bids are accepted, it is a win. If not, I am very happy with my AQ.

    I am on 9/11 eclipse to Alaska out of Vancouver. We are in AQ with all included and made a strong bid for RS as well. Fingers crossed. Still no word.

    Unfortunately, no. It was cancelled due to "covid concerns." I hear it's an eye opening experience and if it is offered on our 2 cruises this year, I will certainly sign up.

    Ty both for any info. DH and I are very obese and worry about tendering. It is what it is.
