  1. I do love the chocolate chip cookies, they're so crunchy!
  2. I can't be 100% certain about Carnival since I'm not a stockholder but I'm a Royal stockholder and it doesn't apply for Royal or Celebrity comped cruises. So it's been about 10 years since we've been able to get shareholder OBC on Royal or Celebrity since it's been that long since we've been sailing on comped cruises.
  3. Here are current screen shots. As you can see the suite is actually available on the Celebration on one sailing but not the other. You just have to scroll and see. The prices you see are the per person price.
  4. Whatever the posted price is for the cabin category is what you will pay. Generally the suite is for shorter, older ships, or on a newer ship it will be for a slow booking cruise date.
  5. How would you get it home? You would have to pack it in your check luggage. Reminds me of a story from my family. Brother in Law and wife were flying back from a Mediterranean cruise, and bought a bottle of Limoncello. Forgot to pack it in the check luggage, and they already had their free check luggage max. Refusing to just leave it they paid the excess checked luggage fee of over $125 for that one bottle of Limoncello.
  6. All toiletries are included in all cabin types, the brands are different based on cabin type. But all include shampoo, separate hair conditioner, body wash, Body lotion, bar soap, and a small amedities box with a few q-tips, shower cap. Generally they give you one bar of soap, but you can always ask for as many as you need. They should be in big dispensers attached to the wall (Body lotion in a separate freestanding big bottle) and aren't meant to be taken home. If I remember correctly a few unrenovated ships may not have wall dispensers but individual sized bottles? Regardless all the above mentioned toiletries are included.
  7. I just noticed they also did away with the Frittata😩 At least the Banana cream pie and seven layer chocolate cake is still there. We usually share one and take one to go, put it in the refrigerator, and have it in the afternoon with a cup of coffee!
  8. Then you just don't book that particular cruise until there's a cruise date you know he can go. It's as simple as that.
  9. Lyft is usually cheaper in South Florida, but yes that's what we use all the time. For example, right now it would be $40 for a Lyft.
  10. Carnival's Casino program doesn't have a transparent tier program, meaning it's not a published tier ranking, but we most certainly do travel on Carnival comped cruises;doing 6 this year with Carnival. My husband loves Carnival's casinos the best since they always have the latest slots. One of their best casino offers is called an Elite cruise. Carnival will give slot or table credit of $500-$1000;free balcony room;free port transfers or port parking, free drink package for 2 people to be used anywhere on the ship; a free port excursion for 2 or $300 spa credit; free logo gifts, and other gifts. We used to sail on NCL comped but we hated the administration fees that amounted to over $300/cabin which isn't rebated back ( a higher tier level does get those admin fees waived). We sailed on a comped Princess cruise with a certificate from Venetian Las Vegas but we don't particularly care for Princess so not persuing them. URcomped most certainly does work with Royal, but not NCL. We're going on MSC this coming Saturday via URcomped. URcomped also works with Virgin. We did our 1st Virgin in July and although the casino was tiny he had fun in the casino and the cruise was great!
  11. All casino offers include a $100 or $200/pp non refundable charge that is rebated back on the cruise as OBC and port fees and taxes. If the person that the offer is given to cannot sail the proper thing is to cancel the cruise, which means the $200 or $400 will be forfeited but the port fees and taxes will be refunded.
  12. Of course, hence the question. She wants to go on a comped cruise and her husband doesn't.
  13. Oh no! The pancetta scramble was my favorite! ☚ī¸
  14. In the regular cabins on the MardiGras the TV's are mounted too close to the wall to access any HDMI ports . I have small hands and I can't get to anything behind it. If the TV's in the suites are on extending mounts that changes it.
  15. Just so you know we lead the lifestyle your trying to attain. Husband is Sapphire@BCC, Signature@ Club Royale, Diamond Plus (down from 7*)@Caesars Rewards,Platinum@MGM Rewards, Rock Royalty@HardRock. We have taken 10 cruises (11 but had to cancel one because of covid) this year all comped, best year was 12. W2G's amount to over 6 figures the last several years. And we are by far nowhere near some of the people I've gotten to know over the years with the comps they have attained because we just don't have the resources to dedicate any more towards gambling. But i think we have found a good fit for our lifestyle (we are retired). My husband used to solely be a table games player but realized we were not getting any comped casino room offers from Atlantic City for his table games play and his mom who played two hundred dollars a visit would get room offers galore. After speaking with the pit bosses and doing research he concluded that if he wanted to get complementaries for his gaming dollars he had to include slots. This was about 15 years ago and we've never looked back.
  16. The bottom line is if the OP wants to gamble solely to attain a certain players club status and be assured higher level comped cruise offers it's NOT going to happen playing solely table games. This is true for both land-based and cruiseship based casino programs. Whatsmore the OP is approaching this whole thing from the wrong perspective. The issue with table games is that it's solely at the discretion of the pit boss. What my husband does is to make friends with all the casino staff, pit boss, dealers, cage employees. TIP generously. Have FUN and GENERATE FUN at the table games you're playing. Track and monitor the points you're earning with the pit boss. Have open lines of communication with the Pit Boss, this way, if you felt that the PB underestimated your average bet, you can NICELY say , oh I think it was a bit more than that. When we're on a cruiseship when my husband walks through the casino everyone says hi, hello to him, servers, dealers, slot attendants, cage staff. Other gamblers in the casino always comment that my husband ALWAYS seems to have so much fun in the casino, and it's enjoyable to be around where he is because he makes it a fun atmosphere to play., which is the bottom line.
  17. You should buy the internet plan ASAP. Prices go up October 1st, but if you uy it now it will be good for your February cruises. 3 plans available. Social @ $8.50/pp/day;Value@$11.05,Premium@$14.45
  18. If anyone is planning on buying the Thermal suite pass you should do it precruise. The prices increase substantially once onboard.
  19. All the experienced gamblers are trying to explain that to the OP but they think they know better.
  20. No worries. Misunderstandings happen all the time.🙂
  21. I don't understand your response. All I was saying is it is an impossibly that Celebrity would close all of their ship's casinos at 8pm.There's no logic in that since as others have stated on port days you wouldn't even have time to open if it closes at 8pm.
  22. That's not the main Celebrity homepage, it's the homepage for the Blue Chip Club. https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/casino/blue-chip-club
