  1. Deadline for submitting deviation requests is 110 days (used to be 75, it may still be but I've seen 110 reported recently). Final payment is 120 days, and they can't book your flights before the deadline for deviation requests so it seems logical that the flights won't be booked before FP. Yes, you can remove the flights up to final payment, after which they may be subject to the cancellation fee table.
  2. I have the NCL credit card, and I have the 20,000 bonus points as a new member and meeting the purchase requirement. However - it makes more sense to put ALL of your on-board charges on the credit card and use the points for bill credit rather than OBC. You get the same money, but you also get 600 more points (3x points for NCL spend, you're charging $200 more if you don't take the OBC and use the points for bill credit). There are a couple threads on the 'tricks' for the credit card...
  3. and I'm wondering if you even reached the correct audience. I wonder if someone from another social media page made the request feigning that they were doing it for a CC roll call.
  4. @source check the 2023 thread for info, and ask there if you don't find it, that way it stays updated if someone else is looking for the info.
  5. Yeah, that ice bucket is pretty useless. I asked for some on my cruise last year and it had mostly melted by the time I got to it. Better off using the buffet ice machines as @ChiefMateJRK suggests.
  6. That depends on what type of OBC you have - From the CruiseNext T&C's: Only refundable Onboard Credits and the Non-Refundable Onboard Credit given for purchasing CruieNext deposits may be used towards your CruiseNext purchase. https://www.ncl.com/about/terms-and-conditions/promotions#cruisenext
  7. When do you expect to find out? It's just as 'classy' to hear "I'm sorry, if you want this AND this you need to pay for one".
  8. Nice to hear some positive feedback! Thanks for sharing
  9. Considering most airlines don't even have the schedules out yet I would say they'll increase by quite a bit...
  10. I guess you missed The Waterfront on deck 8? Sorry to hear of your experience - I've had great cruises on the Bliss, Joy and Escape (very similar ships) and even have another cruise on the Bliss booked.
  11. The Bliss was my first NCL experience in 2019. Liked it so much I went back 6 months later for a second and now I have my 3rd cruise (a 15 night cruise!) on her booked next year. It's a beautiful ship, but so were the Joy and Escape.
  12. NCL has some odd things going on with emails. I've used the same email with them since 2019, booked 2 cruises (2022 and 2023) directly on the NCL website with no issues. I went to book my cruise for next year and the system said the email address was not valid. I call the person assigned as my PCC (for the first time) and during the booking process the emails come right through, to the same address that the website said was invalid!!!
  13. I have a fairly unique luggage tag, makes it easy to spot the combination of the bag and tag. I haven't been wrong yet.
  14. I booked my current future cruise in July and the price has gone up since I booked it. I'm kind of hoping for a price drop before FP, and if there's a good enough drop after FP I'll ask about an upgrade to a balcony. if I don't get either I'll still be OK, base fare was just over $100/night for a solo in a regular inside room on a 15 night PC cruise. My recent 10 night work trip was more than that just for lodging!!
  15. Mine shows, but my booked cruise is 154 days away. What if you log in to the website using a browser?
  16. That was added a couple weeks or months ago, there was discussion and a couple "cruisetubers" did videos on it. As for luggage - my clothes are a little bigger than many, they take up a little more room. I have a 26 or 28 inch suitcase, I'm trying to figure out how I can pack that for a 15 night cruise. My shirts that I'd wear day to day might not do well in the ship laundry (hot water might be an issue) so using the laundry service might not be an option for them. I just returned from a 10-day trip for work that I figured might be a good test run for packing but as I think about it that might not be the case. The aforementioned shirts also went on this trip and not many were used, but I only needed one for a couple hours after returning to my room after dinner (I wore a polo during the day) so they got re-used and many returned clean/unused. I have a few months to work on my packing for my next cruise...
  17. I was on the Bliss for Halloween in 2019. There was a fruit carving by Mixx, entertainment staff were dressed up, some passengers were dressed up (one as Colonel Sanders, quite well done). Overall it was kind of cool!
  18. I agree, but I can only imagine the staffing needed to go through each self-booked reservation with airfare and evaluate if they requested a deviation and if one is advisable. It certainly would make some sense, maybe automate an "important information about your vacation" email based on some flags on the reservation. Flights cross country can be hit or miss. I've flown to LA twice for cruises. Both were the day before the cruise. The first time I had a flight delay in Chicago, would have missed the ship it I was flying on the day of the cruise. The second had no delay on the second flight and I would have easily made the ship it I was flying on the day of the cruise, I was at my hotel by noon. It was nice having that day to relax after having been up at 3 am to get the flights.
  19. My experience is that it's allowed for free but it's quite slow. I think that access gets the lowest priority on the uplink.
  20. I was going to make the same suggestion. You are right about the weight, at the time he sailed in a studio. I'm 5' 10" and around 300 and had no trouble, though I also leave the wc door open while using it....
  21. I fully expect them to prop open the door for the meet at 5 PM, but the kids were in there at a time other than the meet...
  22. That might have been me. We had a couple instances on my cruise in March of someone in a Studio cabin allowing family members staying elsewhere to come into the lounge, including children.
  23. I can't take ALL of the credit - someone suggested that on my last cruise, where I stayed in a Studio...
