I think (judging by everyone crowding the boarding lanes) there’s going to be a lot of grumpy people on this flight I’m not even that grumpy about it..I’m grumpy about the damn road still being semi-closed to get home (it’s down to 1 lane now; which hopefully it fully reopens by the time I get there; or traffic is so light going out of the bay it doesn’t matter)

And thiiiis is why I hate cruising out of Miami or Fort Lauderdale..We’ve ALWAYS had a bad experience flying home. Like MIA or FLL *only * offer westbound flights either hella early or hella late..none in the early afternoon. im trying to find one for Galveston for thanskgiving right now but it’s looking pretty slim.

Told my boss I’m not coming in, lol. And I got a skin surgery on Tuesday so that’ll make the whole week I’m at home (can’t shower for a couple days to let the stitches heal)

Luckily I have healthy snacks with me (Turkey jerky and a granola bar)

JFC! It’s been a long time since I’ve had a “candy bar” (im not really a sweets person) but I heard chocolate makes your brain have the same chemical reaction as feeling loved. so I went to get a Hershey bar..A REGULAR SIZED HERSHEY BAR…360 calories!!! That’s literally half a MEAL right there! ugh

Yup I just saw SFO is all jammed up so they’re holding ANY incoming 2:30 hours

Annnnnd the flight was just delayed 2 hours! Not leaving until 7:30 now and landing at 10:42. what a nightmare it is to get to SFO (or anywhere close) from Miami.

Inexpensive and San Francisco don’t belong in the same paragraph, HAHAHHA. i may not be able to get home (easily) or back to work tommorow (possibly) huge wildfire has shut down the only feasible route between my house and Bay Area (I580 on the east side of the Altamont pass) My home is in no danger because I’m 20 miles south of where it’s burning. In other news; I had lunch..tried to make the healthiest choice possible (without having to eat another salad)

Yes; the only problem is my flight lands at 9pm and it’s a 2 hour drive home and I have to get up at 6:10 to do the reverse of that same drive, to go to work.

I’d rather avoid that kind of hassle for $200

Haha I was looking at iFly.com which had bad info…there’s NO BofA here at MIA, lol. So I’ll have to deposit the cash when I get home this week

Had a grilled chicken Caesar salad for lunch; honestly I’ll probably eat again at like 4 (we don’t board till 5) Walked around Terminal D a bit, rode the sky train around, came over to my gate and got lucky and found a spot with outlets; so I’m watching YT and charging my tablet & phone. might also do a little bit of work too.

Once I get past TSA; it’s a quest to find the BofA ATM to deposit this cash ($8300) It’s good to know I have to go through security to get to the ATM first; so I CANT be carrying more than $10,000. So looks like if I wanted to “pure” wash gift cards out of Miami; I can’t do more than $1000 profit ($10,000 cash)

Man the TSA line at MIA is loooong. lol the agent at Bag check asked me if i had TSA pre..and I said No, but I need to get it; then she points to the line..lol luckily my flight isn’t for another 6 hours

Thanks. just have to camp at the airport for a few hours now…flying home to a cold SF; but a baking home (heat advisories already hitting supposed to be 103 Wednesday)

Successfully on the ship without stopping. Now just waiting on Uber ($18 to MIA; not too bad)

This is crazy; it’s 9:37 and there’s still a ton of people up here in Lido! I feel bad for the next sailing; it’s going to take them forever to get boarded.
