Yes, we had a cabin on deck 9 and we were out there when we sailed into a port.

Had 9201 on the Dream. Here is a link to a few photos.

Want to talk about a slap in the face? I have 2 Journeys cruises booked and paid almost $4,000 for them. Now I hear people saying they are getting VIFP offers for them for free. That is a slap in the face. After these cruises, I think my Carnival days are over.
Those are casino offers.

Yes, same thing happened to friend of ours. There was no problems at all, they just looked at it.

If you are first off and everything goes perfect..yes. Personally I would not book a flight that early. It's about 15 miles to the airport and traffic can be a real pain.
-
Now you can, they changed the law.

OP, there were two chairs in our cabin (10206).
-
We have stayed in 10206 (same as 10205) on the Breeze. Yes there is room for a folding chair. Here is a link to a few photos of the cabin.

I am surprised that they even let them board. Seems it would have been easier for RC to keep them off the ship in the first place during embarkation. Just like an airport, there are words to avoid on a ship and overboard is one of them.

Yes, some of the cabins are deeper. We had M-11 on the Inspiration (sister ship) and liked the cabin.

We had 7316 on the Sunshine and never noticed any noise from the stairs.
-
When we sailed on the Sunshine from New Orleans, the casino opened about an hour after we sailed, long before we were in open water.
-
Probably only sold through wholesale distributors or is packaged for Carnival Corp only.
-
Sure can. They will use your OBC before they start charging your CC or cash deposit.
-
They raised the price about a month ago.
Enjoy your cruise.

Check out Last minute travel club (google). We have got the Queen Mary several times for around $90.

The weekend short cruises sell out and generate a lot of revenue, from what we've observed on our half-dozen or sailings (we live hear the port:D). The problem is likely with the mid-week cruises, which don't attract as many working age passengers, because who wants to take a week off from work to do a 4-night cruise? Princess would be well-advised to consider a 3/4 night itinerary that has Friday and Monday departures, if they are going to stay in the market and attract first-time cruisers and celebratory groups.
All cruises are hard on the crew, but I think that the short ones affect housekeeping more than anybody else. A drink is a drink and a meal is a meal, so I only see more paperwork for the F&B side of the operation.
And we greatly enjoy Ensenada - we have found a great day spa for excellent massages, there are plenty of restaurants ranging from seafood by the harbor to more varied fare in town. There are lots of junky stores, but also quite a few nice ones that actually sell items made in Mexico. Our usual routine is a late morning massage followed by lunch and a stroll back to the ship.
Would you let me know the name and location, my wife loves to get massages.

Carnival doesnt like CC.That's quite apparent.
I don't think Carnival dislikes CC, but John Heald does not care for it.
-
We did this cruises twice. Kids never bothered us.
-
Check out Last minute travel club. Got the Radisson for $79 per night. We did stay for 3 nights though.
-
We were on the 4/11 sailing and did not hear of any sickness. We were with a group of 24 with cabins on several decks.
-
We had a 12 top on Sunshine, early set dinning.

What ship?
Star, 11/20 sailing.

Going on 49 years of marriage and I always ask "permission" or "approval" from my wife and she shows me the same respect. It works. Wonder how many divorces are caused by not showing that respect to your spouse.
OP, glad you are cruising and congrats on your marriage. I wish you many more cruises and anniversary's.
