  1. For future reference just go to ncl.com, scroll to the bottom of the page, on the right side under "Our Company" click on "For Investors". Scroll to the bottom of the Investors page and you will see this: Shareholder Benefit Shareholder Benefit Offer Shareholder Benefit Request Form Shareholder Benefit FAQs
  2. Prayers for those he left behind. He was a great man and will be missed by many. May he rest in peace.
  3. I never said NCL did, I said "Cruise Deck Plans" only shows it on one side. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
  4. Thank you. I thought they were but "cruise deck plans" only has the staterooms on the starboard side marked as having the slides going thru them.
  5. Are the slides on both sides or only the starboard side?
  6. From what I read here on CC, they just took the suite meals and butler service away from the Joy suites in December 2021. The Joy was the only ship with "Concierge suites" while it was in Asia which had concierge service but no butler service. When they brought her back and refurbished her, most of those "Concierge suites" were made Haven suites and a few were left to be regular suites. I don't know why they bothered to leave just a few suites "out in the cold" for benefits, but they did.
  7. The Joy suites definitely do not have butler service or special meals for breakfast or lunch like the Jewel class ships.
  8. In Alaska 2019, all suite passengers whether haven suite or regular suite were invited to the Haven Sundeck to see the Glaciers in Glacier Bay Park on the Jewel but otherwise we did not have haven access except when specifically invited by the Concierge. Since we had a forward facing penthouse on the Jewel we didn't bother going up to the haven sundeck. The Havens on the Jewel Class ships are much smaller than the Haven areas on the Breakaway and Breakaway Plus ships and really do not have room for more than the Haven suites that are actually in the Haven. All suites, both haven and regular have breakfast in Moderno and lunch in Cagneys from the fleetwide Haven menu.
  9. They have the VIP party in the Haven on the Jewel Class ships but otherwise regular suites with a Category starting with a "S" have never had Haven access since we began sailing on NCL in 2003. I believe there was a short experiment many years ago and the haven guests had a fit so it didn't even last a month.
  10. Had they made this change before now (we embark tomorrow) we would have probably done a B2B but decided not to because of all the hoops we have to jump through. Glad BDA is making this easier! My stress level is still through the roof and I already called and got ours approved for tomorrow.
  11. I just checked to make sure it is still posted and it is. It is in a group just named for the ship on FB. I don't think I am allowed to link the group here.
  12. I hope it goes better than this past Sunday. Tons of people still needing approval from Bermuda. Videos in the terminal showing the lines and interviewing fellow passengers (thought that was illegal in the terminal?) waiting for their TA to be approved. We are haven, diamond, wheelchair assistance and will make sure we have our TA from Bermuda if I have to sit on the phone all evening Friday so I'm hoping ours goes well and will hopefully have to find out from others how their embarkation goes. I'll let you know what I hear and see but we don't buy extra internet so only some will be during the cruise.
  13. Sorry to hear your Health Update. I hope it is a mild case and passes quickly with no long lasting effects. DH ended up with it after our Jan 29, 2022 cruise. He had a slight cough the last 2 days of the cruise so we decided to test since we watch our Granddaughter. She was under 5 at the time and unable to be vaccinated so we didn't want to take any chances. Turned out to be a good decision. His test turned positive almost immediately. Mine remained negative thru another rapid and two PCR's over the next week. We are both vaxxed and double boosted now....only had one booster for the Jan cruise. Fingers crossed.
  14. Were you on the inaugural Escape TA? I helped with the cabin crawl on that one and we took a photo of our half of the cabin crawl group in the Solo Lounge. If you remember the ship, I have a folder for all 35 NCL cruises and the roll call listing if I ran anything. I know, I'm nuts! 🙃 It's been a while since George and I did the slot pulls & cabin crawls. They were fun before we got a good idea of the set up of most of the cabins/suites. As long as someone else runs the slot pull, we don't bother but we do participate. I'm on the other site more than here now but still check in to see what is going on. Plus I try to get others to come over to CC also. Once we started booking suites and haven, I kind of backed away so those not in a suite would have a slim chance of getting VIP if they ran the M&G. I hope we do a cabin crawl on the Prima in October.
  15. Thank you! It's getting tougher and tougher these days. It seemed like someone else was going to coordinate the M&G and then nothing but crickets....so I finally took over. We have many signed up, I just hope half of them show up! NCL is expecting 40 and right now we are up to 79 signed up for the M&G. Unusual for a 7 night cruise but the whole TA thing is easier when everyone is keeping each other straight on what is expected.
  16. I know, we've been joking this 7 night cruise is going to feel like a weekend it's been so long since we did one this short. 🙃
  17. We are on the Gem a lot in January/February. We try to be on a ship for the Superbowl each year. Your screen name is familiar too. We were on the Gem for 6 weeks in Jan/Feb 2020.
  18. Charlie is a great help but I'm guessing you don't remember me. Hubby and I are both Diamond on NCL (35 cruises on NCL alone) so we have "some" experience....but things change all the time so we all need to know what is happening now. Our Gem cruise in January 2022 was awesome. Only 601 passengers thanks to the Nor'easter. I'm sure this one will be fantastic too! Thanks again. PS Are you sure he is on our cruise? I know he is on the week before and the week after us, but I haven't seen him here or elsewhere or our week. He did our M&G on the Gem in Jan.
  19. Thank you for taking time out of your vacation to takes us along with you. I really appreciate it and all on our roll call and elsewhere appreciate it also. 🤩
