  1. Thanks...wanted to make sure the app wasn't messing with me...
  2. I'm assuming yes because each sailing of the Apex (current, the next one, etc) shows the same menu (using the app...) I haven't sailed on an Edge class ship...yet. Thanks in advance...
  3. Thank you for starting this thread...it's good to know what's what. Fortunately, I've always had great service from the sommelier (on all my cruises btw) and always tipped them accordingly...
  4. I'm sure there is a thread on this somewhere...but... All Included doesn't cover grats in Eden?? Please just a simple yes or no will do...lol...I'm booking it anyways while there are early openings!!
  5. Thanks everyone. We will book a ship excursion...now to decide when to go... Sure glad I asked!!
  6. Oh, only considering Tulum...others are waaaay too far and risky. (Besides, DW has been to them all...as a land-based thing 40 years ago...lol...in her other life...lol...) I am the newbie and she's traveling down Memory Lane... Really appreciate your input!
  7. Thank you...that is quite helpful! We would like to have a look at the Mayan ruins so need to get to the mainland. I am certainly interested to know if a lot of folks just stay on the island...
  8. Generally, before I book a cruise, I look to see how many ships will be in the port on a particular day on the itinerary. While looking at cruises (not just X I might add), I notice that in early 2024, many ports look to be incredibly packed. One standout is Cozumel as an example. When the Apex arrives there on Feb 7th, it looks like there will be 9 ships (including the Apex) at the port! A potential crowd of like 32 thousand (if they were all full). Are the ferries to Playa Del Carmen able handle crowds like that? In contrast, when the Apex arrives on April 17th, there are 3 ships in port for like 14k if full. Have any of you experienced crowds like that and seen how they affect excursions both ship-sponsored and private?? Do some cruise ships directly tender to Playa Del Carmen?? I thank you for your observations and please forgive this 1st timer for this itinerary if I seem a little alarmed. Obviously a lot of folks are getting back on board (pun intended).
  9. Precisely why I asked what port they were traveling from...but no response from OP on that. If they are traveling from Busan, well, I would be a nervous wreck! I do note that they can fly between those places...but I'd still be worried! Wish we had more detail...
  10. How long is your ship in port?? That is quite a distance (assuming you are arriving at Busan port??) I can see how that would be tight...good luck and safe travels!! ETA: I'm assuming you are at some other port...
  11. Oh, no, no, no...if I'm buying it, I want *everyone* to know it and see me drinking it. In fact, I would demand that it be announced over the ship's system...lol...
  12. What do you mean? I order one of those every time I cruise X.... No, seriously, I just wanted to thank you again for putting together that google spreadsheet to view excursions, etc w/o booking. Super useful...nicely done!!
  13. No, I am not. I am (much) more than casually familiar with networking. As I said earlier in this thread, it's not worth getting all worked up over...it's a few seconds extra just pressing enter. All I wanted to know was if others were experiencing the problem and they are... I trust the issue will just disappear as mysteriously as it appeared...lol.
  14. Yep, as I mentioned in my original thread...they all exhibit the same behavior...thanks...
  15. Some of you may remember I started a thread asking about the very same issues. It is still going on and I am using Chrome on windows 11. However, if I just keep pressing enter after entering my email and password, it lets me in...generally on the 5th try but sometimes as many as 10. Clearing cookies does not provide any relief. I have learned to just live with it as we're talking a few seconds of delay. The thing about getting timed out and booted off (as the OP mentions) after some shifting amount of time as always been there since I started using the website. Yes, a pain in the tuckus but logging back in gets me back on track. Not going to bother to make a stink about it or find another cruise line. I have complaints about all of them.
  16. Well, Leigh, thank you once again for helping this first-timer! Had no idea about the bio stuff...will plan accordingly. Perhaps I'll be able to pick up a sandwich or something along the way. Best regards, Dave
  17. Many thanks to both of you for your responses! Will be doing the train as planned.
  18. Princess says the ship docks near the 'foot of Mt. Maunganui'... Can anyone shed a little light on this?? I am considering packing a lunch and hiking up said mountain. Would this hike be too strenuous for a late sixties person? (in fair shape...lol...) Thanks for any tips and recommendations!
  19. I have actually done that...on a shuttle bus between the airport and my hotel in Las Vegas. I kid you not people applauded. When the guy was done, he turned around and looked to the back of the bus. I waved at him. He grunted and turned back around.
