  1. XXXL shirt and pants. Bloating will be less noticeable.
  2. I was on this cruise. I had a similar experience regarding service. Staff was overall very friendly. We tipped a bartender extra on Day 7, because he really went above and beyond. Room attendant was average to below average. Honestly it was the best vacation my wife and I have ever had, probably because it was our first ocean view balcony, first drink package, staff interacting with us more than our last cruise, plus the ship is new and beautiful. The embarkation and disembarkation was smoother than our last cruise from Port Canaveral.
  3. Make sure to find Amit. He’s the best bartender. He’s often at the Lime & Coconut on deck 16 or at Wonderland. Try a frozen mojito, lava flow, blue mofo.
  4. Most of the time it was listed at $72.99 per day, per person plus 18% gratuities. Occasionally it dropped to $67.99, and that’s the price I paid. $1,123 total for 2 people. Had to drink 4 full priced, 1-2 mid priced drinks per day to break even. Was easy to do. Check your cruise planner or the app daily for the lowest price.
  5. Brought it onboard ourself in checked luggage. Last cruise I managed to bring a large clunky box fan on and they didn’t care. The smaller travel fans are ideal for noise and helping with airflow.
  6. Italian night was my favorite. Went to MDR without reservations at 7:30 and was seated immediately. Staff was pleasant, and food came approximately 10 minutes after ordering it. We enjoyed our dinner. I know food is very subjective, the couple next to us was dissatisfied and discussing how awful everything was, while I was asking for another appetizer because I liked it so much. Afterward stopped by WJ to see if they had cannolis, which unfortunately they did not. Breakfast was the standard offerings. Tried to be healthy and stick to oatmeal or avocado toast. Found myself often caving into getting a pastry or something else sinfully delicious. Extra time on the treadmill for me! 🏃‍♂️
  7. Every men’s bathroom had animals watching you as you urinated. A lot of artwork throughout the ship.
  8. Had a forward balcony, it was quiet both day and night. Felt a lot of motion the first day, I went down to the med center to take the free Meclizine for a migraine. At the end of the week the large container of it was nearly empty. So I’m guessing many people got motion sickness throughout the week.
  9. The drink package covered Starbucks at the Cafe Promenade. Added expresso shots and a chocolate croissant. Vitality Cafe was good after a workout, fruit smoothies or fresh squeezed juice. I liked the orange juice and smoothies. Some of the other juices have ginger and have a spicy/earthy taste.
  10. Got to Oasis Lagoon before it became crowded. First time there, and definitely not my last.
  11. Took 3 attempts to see the aqua show due to wind. Really enjoyed it, the drummer looked right at me! So cool.
  12. Expresso/chocolate martini and frozen mojito are my 2 favorite. After having the drink package and trying many drinks, I kept going back to the frozen mojito, it’s so refreshing.
  13. We only did the ice show and aqua show. Both were amazing. The shows in the royal theater didn’t look appealing so skipped those.
  14. Green is my favorite frozen drink, frozen mojito. Blue drink is good, it’s the blue Hawaiian. Cotton candy drink is in wonderland, my wife got it, cosmo something, can’t remember the exact name.
  15. Currently aboard. First time getting an ocean view balcony and drink package. Very enjoyable experience. Food and drinks have been good, with the exception of desserts in the Windjammer. Went to the MDR once without reservations and was seated immediately, we liked the food and service there. Favorite foods were stuffed eggplant, crispy breaded cauliflower in chili sauce served in the Indian section, spicy polenta fries with red pepper hummus, curry dishes, spaghetti bolognese, stewed fruit. Minor issues were I don’t like the cigarette smoke drifting to the Windjammer and MDR entrance. Found the mattress very comfortable but the pillows too large and firm, which was resolved when they gave us different pillows. Several automatic doors don’t work well. Solarium is a comfortable temp and most days the windows are open. Jacuzzi temperatures vary, some are warm and others are very hot. Bartenders are mostly friendly and never waited long for drinks. Beautiful ship. Would sail again depending on price.
  16. Sounds exactly like Disney yesterday. Massive groups of extremely rude, entitled, loud, people in packs. Cutting in lines, pushing past everyone in their way. Can’t imagine that experience on a ship for a week.😬 I have a 9 night Greek Isles cruise booked for late September next year, hoping it filters out a lot of this, and kids.
  17. Do the 9+ night cruises filter out most of the kids? Haven’t done one yet, but I’m assuming anything over a week is mostly adults.
  18. I board Wonder this Sunday, and today we went to Disney. I thought a weekday in February would be a good time to visit Disney. I was so wrong! It was EXTREMELY crowded. I’ve been there many times, and it’s the worst I’ve seen it. Elbow to elbow crowds. Boxed in by double strollers or electric scooters at every turn.Totally overwhelmed and exhausted. I feel like it’s unsafe. If there was an emergency, people would get trampled in the park. Ready for a relaxing cruise. After my experience at Disney today, I’m sure getting on Wonder this week will feel much more relaxing.
  19. This is on Wonder. Looks interesting but there’s no way I’m paying $318 for this when my wife and I board Sunday.
  20. I really want to try Italian night on Wonder next week. Won’t know what night it is until I’m onboard, because the themes keep changing to different days on the app. If it closes at 8:30pm, can you walk in at 8pm and expect no lines? Will they let you order and stay past the close?
  21. Board Wonder in 9 days, once we return my wife will need surgery. No trip insurance, but thankfully it’s not urgent enough to stop us from going. I’m definitely getting the insurance next time.
  22. If you’re on now, I think there’s a lot of kids because of a Jewish celebration. That’s why solarium bistro has been closed.
