There’s a member here saying there’s a huge soot problem onboard Wonder, and many clothes are getting ruined near the Aqua Theater due to the oil droplets. Have you witnessed that at all?

I’m boarding Wonder 2/5. First time going to Coco Cay, getting an ocean view balcony and drink package. Hope it lives up to my expectations.

If you look on the app, “select a different cruise”, “browse our ships”, and select that ships sailing date with a similar itinerary that you’re interested in, it will show the excursions offered under the daily planner or excursions tab, especially if it’s a current cruise. Gives a rough idea what’s offered at ports.

I booked my Wonder shows January 1st for February 5th cruise. The pattern seems to be you can book reservations online the first day of the month, the calendar month before the cruise. So if your cruise is March 5th, reservations would open February 1st. Cruise planner or app under “entertainment.”

Not long ago you could Google “Royal Caribbean excursions” and the port, the first website listed allowed you to view the excursions. That feature has been removed now.

The hospital I work at has an awful cafeteria. It’s sad what they give patients, quality and quantity has really gone down due to cost cutting. I’ll take the windjammer any day.

This person was on the Disney Wish and said it stopped at Castaway Cay.

Royal Caribbean uses a few different terminals there. The assigned terminal is in the guest ticket booklet they email you.

Can you use the drink package at specialty restaurants without buying their food? I see Wonderland, Playmakers, Izumi have their own unique drinks, plus there’s Giovanni’s wine bar.

Got the deluxe beverage package for my first time. Is there a receipt to sign after each transaction? Also, can you carry a bottle of beer over to Sorrentos to have with pizza, or does it need to stay at the bar?

This showed up on my cruise planner to reserve. Comments I saw a few months ago implied it wasn’t fully functional at the time. Anyone do this recently? What was your experience like?

I don’t know about that ship. Oasis had it playing in the Royal Theater a few years ago, and had complimentary snacks.

1. Constant sales that have countdown when they end in 2 days, 6 hours, 37 minutes, 3 seconds. 2. Paying a stranger hundreds of dollars to give you a glorified back rub. 3. $1,200 Deluxe beverage package for convenience and to “save” money. The only way to save is if you get drunk everyday and are lucky enough not to get cirrhosis of the liver. 4. Automatic gratuities months or years before receiving service. Imagine going to a restaurant on land and giving the waiter a tip, and saying, “this is for my dinner 2 years from now.” Crazy!! 5. Booking a virtual balcony while on a ship at sea.

If you Google search “Royal Caribbean vegan menu reviews” there’s a few sites with pictures and comments.

I’ve been on a grocery budget lately trying to save money, and shop mainly at Aldi. I’ll appreciate whatever they have on Wonder in a couple months.

Oasis in 2017 had Super Bowl playing in the royal theatre. There was complimentary food like you’d expect at a Super Bowl party.

Thanks everyone, very helpful tips. Great pictures @bonsai3s. Yes, my wife and I have been to Rome. Spent 2 weeks there for our honeymoon in 2011, including a trip to Capri. The plan is 4 nights in Rome pre cruise, for nostalgia. 5 nights in Florence post cruise. After all these comments and looking at pictures of Acropolis, I think I'll get off at every port, and get back on the ship early in a couple places. I do enjoy ancient history. That's too bad Santorini is that congested, however I feel like I need to see it, as it might be my only opportunity. The ship is in Santorini 13 hours, 7am-8pm. Hopefully that's enough time to explore Oia and get good pictures. On the "explore itinerary" tab when I booked it said Mykonos is tendered. You're saying it's not? That's good news, probably will explore on my own, without an excursion there.

Surprised to see the Santorini comments. Would it being late September matter? Or is it always crazy busy there?

Port heavy cruise, I want to add a sea day to enjoy our suite on Odyssey, by staying on the ship at 1 of the ports. I’m considering Athens the most for this. The city itself doesn’t look appealing, and I’m already seeing a lot of ruins elsewhere. First time doing a Med cruise.
