  1. Labor shortage was predicted years ago. It’s simple demographics. Boomers are retiring and there’s not enough younger people to replace the largest generation ever. Flights are canceled, cruises are short staffed, patients are dying because of a healthcare worker shortage, nursing homes are closing, not enough teachers or truckers. I think it’s more complex than greed.
  2. I plan on doing a Greek Isles cruise 2024-2025. Planning on September, sounds like the best month to go from my research. September 19th is perfect, good weather, kids are in school, slightly less crowds.
  3. Went on our first cruise aboard Oasis, February 2017, to escape a cold Michigan winter. I lost my brother tragically months earlier, and needed something positive in my life. My wife and I were in awe of the ship, and being at sea watching the sunset. The St Thomas sail and snorkel excursion was memorable, saw sea turtles and tropical fish. It was perfect weather and the guides were so much fun. The view on the way back to the ship was beautiful. Sun was going down, sipping rum punch, warm tropical breeze hitting our face as we sailed to Oasis and it’s lights reflected on the water. That day I knew cruising was my favorite vacation. Cruise #2 is on Wonder, February 2023, ocean view balcony. Very excited to make more good memories! After that hope to cruise the Greek Isles in 2024-2025. Either Celebrity or RC. Our honeymoon was in Rome 11 years ago, and we’d like to return, plus see more of the Mediterranean.
  4. I looked at the RC app today for my 2/2023 Wonder OTS cruise. As of today, it now allows me to make dining reservations, view menus for my sailing date. Excursion prices dropped within the last 24 hours. I canceled one and rebooked it for 15% less. I made reservations for a late dinner at Solarium Bistro. Anyone have experience with this, and did you enjoy it?
  5. Royal Caribbean had my last name spelled wrong. Glad it was a simple fix on their end.
  6. My understanding is entertainment and dining reservations are made through the RC app now for most ships. Ship Wi-Fi is free(for app use only). Shows and dining reservations can be made on there. Menus for each day are also displayed, and theme nights at windjammer(Italian, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, etc). An alternative would be going to guest services. Once you’re on the app you can select live sailings on various ships and explore their shows and dining options to get a feel for it. If you’re doing traditional dining vs mytime dining you’ll have a locked in time for dinner. For mytime you have flexibility and can show up in-person or make a reservation on the app but still might wait in line. I was on Oasis in 2017 and I’m booked on Wonder for 2023. There’s been changes since then. The information above is the latest way of doing it, based on my research. Someone correct me if it’s not accurate. Not sure if you’re referring to booking a cruise or other reservations.
  7. “Reservation not found, the cruise information entered doesn't match any of our records. Please review and try again.” That’s the message I see when I look up my reservation, or click on the make a payment link. I’ve troubleshooted 20x, info I entered is correct, I’ve tried laptops, tablets, and different browsers. Nothing works. Any ideas? I did message customer service a few days ago, still waiting on a response. The cruise planner, and other parts of the account work, and display my upcoming cruise.
  8. I was wondering the same thing. Looking to book a Greek Isles cruise for 2024. Celebrity has its schedule out for 2024.
  9. Wow thanks for the advice everyone. I was able to get a lower fare. Saved $418 on Wonder OTS. Took 5 minutes, had the best customer service experience, one of the friendliest and most helpful people I’ve ever talked to at RC. Whoever it was deserves a pay raise. Seems the magic word to use is reprice.
  10. How is everyone getting their cruise repriced? I called RC multiple times and they said anything booked after 3/31/22 is no longer eligible for lower fares, unless it’s within 48 hours of booking. I booked Wonder OTS 4/7/22, leaving Port Canaveral 2/5/23, have not paid in full, and now the cruise is $348 less. No to a lower fare, and no to onboard credit for the difference.
  11. This is basically what I was told too. Booked Wonder OTS on 4/11 for Feb.2023. The price dropped $350. RC told me there’s nothing I can do. Starting March 31st you can only apply price drops to room upgrades, unless you notice a lower price within 48 hours of booking. Not sure how everyone else here is getting price adjustments.
