  1. Pete and Repeat were walking along a bridge. Pete fell off. Who was left?
  2. Well, I didn't score the big one that you all , but I did score 200 points. I'll take it.
  3. Yes, I get the codes via email. But much later in the day.
  4. It states in the description that there are "no points issued in this game."
  5. That's a pretty common occurrence on all Galveston arrivals. Quite often, fog socks Galveston in, in the early morning hours. We don't have that problem, especially on embarkation. We choose the latest port check in time we can get. And for debarkation, the highest numbered tag that's available, as we always check our bags. Takes lot of stress off of us. And at our age, we try to live as stress free as possible.
  6. Very interesting! Thanks for posting! 👍 I read the full article PLUS the Royal Caribbean blog. Many, many comments were almost word for word on what we've read here on the Carnival forum.
  7. Allstate showed me a lot of love just now. I won 1,000 points on memory game, and 2,000 points on the wheel spin. I've never won 2,000 points on the wheel spin, but I'll take it! 👍
  8. Ahhhhh, I see now. My bad. I didn't read closely enough.
  9. I can appreciate your pain for having to drive 4 hours each way, just to reach the port and back. Consider this....we are obliged to drive 6 hours, each way, from Arlington, Tx to Galveston, Tx. Our only port of choice for several reasons....age, cost, etc. Consider yourselves lucky. And I hope you have a fantastic cruise,
  10. I get them every, every day. More than one. It gets irritating at times. Sometimes I think I need to disengage that function.
  11. Love those Harvey Walbanger's! My favorite drink of choice back in the 70's! 👍
  12. Some people just have all the luck. Congrats! 👍
  13. Allstate must be generous today. I just won 250 Allstate points. Wheeeeeee.
  14. It happened to us on our last cruise. We sail out of Galveston, and they pulled us aside and inspected our carry on.
  15. I have no idea. You'd have to talk to them. My guess is that the bottles were not in suitcases. And those bottles have a square bottom, not round.
  16. That's what my wife drinks, and was planning to take a bottle on board on our Dream cruise last Sept. 26, but alas someone DID try to take it on board just before our sailing and they announced that it was confiscated at port check in. So we didn't even attempt it.
  17. ^^^^^This. I've never worn a jacket OR a tie in the steakhouse. Granted, I do wear blue or khaki Dockers, with either a blue oxford button up shirt, or a nice collared golf shirt. And no one has ever said one word to me.
  18. No they don't. Unfortunately. Carnival has gone out of their way to disable the TV. It's pretty much useless, except for the limited channel selection.
