The weather did not improve. As we got close, these were our views. We were thinking our luck just may have run out.

So the day started kind of …well…crappy. It was extremely foggy, windy and wind blowing us around. Then it started to snow. The good news was we were not supposed ti be to Elephant Island till 4.

Ha! Did not even now there was anyone around. The weather broke for us visually about an hour ago. Will post pics. Clouds cooperated , wind not so much. Thanks for the update.

First couple of days it was very warm, actually pool weather.

Thanks for the kind words. We are staying on the port side. That said, the captain has tried to maneuver the ship around, and we did take a bunch from our balcony. A word of caution with this thinking. the view for the other side might be better and change before you can adjust. Of course, the weather plays the biggest variable in all of this. A couple of other suggestions, the outer deck in the gym (forward) was a great idea. If it gets really cold, the glass around the main pool has panels that can slide open. Sunset bar area is another.

As others have mentioned, it is not going anywhere and here to stay, like forever. Some can deal with that, some will live in fear forever (justified or not), some ignore in one form or fashion. Op, figure out what is the way you want to deal with it. Not being critical, just factual.

Last night went to our first show. Tribute to Michael Buble with a male trio called NYC3. Supported by the house band. Very good.

7:40am snow squalls. Elephant island at 4:30 we hope. Elephant seals and penguins hopefully. Then back thru Drake’s Passage.

IPhone, was worried about the weight (especially with the big zoom). Should have done it
