  1. I have done the pasta class, wife has done two others. Highly recommend it…do it.
  2. So book the earlier one, make it a b2b double inaugural, or just enjoy your cruise. We booked the inaugural for the Mardi Gras 7 times and then had to miss the “real” one. That was 7 OBC’s I had to reuse. Go enjoy your “inaugural”.
  3. Thanks for following along. Need this cruise to be a relaxed one, the group we are cruising with is a fun one, they make their own fun. More to come on that.
  4. I have been on two very expensive Carnival cruises in a row, each with a significant issue. While I get that everyone has to decide for themselves, how they feel in regards to their situation, for us, it is what it is. I watched (first hand) how some got consumed with what ever the issue is, and some just went along and some made the best of what it is (was). The old proverbial glass of water, is it half full, half empty or just a glass of water. No right or wrong, but I can tell you which group was the most unhappy during and AFTER the cruise. That said, everybody's opinion may vary. We leave in two days for our next cruise, her eis hoping it is boring from this discussion perspective.
  5. Carnivals fried chicken is nothing to write home about. That said, LOL, I usually still order it.
  6. I will wave as we are getting off. Same goes for you, questions or requests, ask away.
  7. Thanks for coming along, we will treat her nicely for you. Ask along the way, happy to post or inquire.
  8. Thanks for following along. I hope you were easy on her, I need a cruise I can just relax on.
  9. We can follow each other. I promise to give you ample reason to long to get into the HC area, it ROCKS.
  10. Glad you can join us, I promise to keep you entertained.
  11. Thanks for joining us. Hopefully not quite as exciting as our last two, but I promise it will not be boring.
  12. Most of our group for this cruise is flying down from the northeast on Friday. A smaller portion (including us is driving over from the west coast, some on some on friday and staying over at a hotel pre cruise, and some (us) driving over Alligator Alley the morning of.
  13. Several reasons, was it an education factor of the op when they booked the cruise? Did they even know the differences between the different booking classes and which ones a re refundable up to final payment date? Did they understand when a deposit is refundable and up to what date. I am not knocking the op, just pointing out that prevention is much easier than trying to fix a problem.
  14. Way to go Jeff. I bet you are. Thanks for coming along.
  15. This cruise started about 19 months ago. Our group is 18 cabins of friends and family that frequently cruise together. We fell in love with the HC rooms on the Vista over in Europe on her maiden season; They were hooked and began calling themselves (no more blue towels). This sailing was the first that fit the schedules for everyone. When on the Mardi Gras a good while back, they said, back to the HC rooms on the Vista Class. So here we go, come on along.
  16. So…..it has been a good while and we come from 2 adventures that both had….well, lets say interesting events tied to them. The Pride out of Dover to the Baltics and the Legend out of Baltimore to Greenland….um towards Greenland. Hope this cruise, while it has less glamorous destinations, hopefully will have somewhat less excitement…. Anyway, come join us.
  17. ….and there are sister ships in other stables that are virtual twins to Vista class

  19. Nothing in this post says what the issue is….
  20. I hate anaolgies, but if your car never went in for an aoul change and ran 24 hours a day 365 days a year, 500 miles a day, it has a different parameter then mine or your car. You have absolutely no idea what the issue is, whether it is the same issue it is the prolulsion sustem or the genreator that supplies power, whether it is in the azipod oor computer that drives it, whether it is a parts or supply constraint, etc etc etc. Where did you get your degree in mechanical engineering, maybe Carnival needs assistance?
