That is why options are always a good thing. For the record, if and when they do this, the segments would in all likelihood not be months at a time, but more like 3 to 4 weeks.
No dog in this fight, but my comment to you was you missed the point. His job is get and engage people engaged in Carnival discussions. Just like you and I are doing now. I can tell you that some of his topics are things that they do in fact discuss. Did he say it was def going to happen?
He frequently is tied to ships from Tampa (near his home) so he has had a ton of Spirit class experience. All that said, I agree with both assessments.
We did a two week journey cruise on the Legend 6 months ago. Love the ship. The Captain gave daily talks and he displayed a love for the ship (and the Spirit class) as well.
You might get on a half hour earlier, but I would not do it. I would go over the latest you can, and play the side to side card in the earlier than reservation check in line. We have done two side to sides but not at same port. Good luck and enjoy/
