  1. I know, but look at the activity, most of it is mine and maybe one or two others.
  2. I am going on the April 8th Cruise not 15th
  3. This is so true! We won Haven bids past 2 NCL Cruises, this one we simply booked it lol...First time in Aft Facing Haven suite, I know people say the vibration, but i worked on board cruise ships for 5 years, and never had a vibration that affected me to the point it impacted the actual vactation
  4. The CC Roll Call has virtually been non existent for tis sailing. Very odd and I do not have Facebook
  5. So no matter how many bags if its my wife and I or my wife and kids with us, we tip $20 for all the bags. Again, Tipping is open for debate, i like to do it but doesnt mean its right or wrong.
  6. So, Have work today tomorrow and Thursday and sitting at my desk in my office I catch myself watching the Ships arrive in the morning at port. Been Spying the Joy's Forward Facing Webcam waiting to watch it arrive into Harvest Cay this morning...Officially check out of work lol. So As I mentioned we will be leaving Thursday at 3:30pm to start our Drive From North Carolina down to Miami. The goal is to make it to at least Jacksonville Thursday evening but depending on traffic and if we are making good time may push it to Daytona Beach. If it was just my wife and I traveling we would have driven straight through to Miami but traveling with our 16 year old daughter and her 17 year old friend that seems like a little much for them. We decided to not even book a room for the 1st leg of the drive so we can simply stop when we want to for the night. 2 more days and we get to leave, dear lord these last few days will drag!!!!
  7. If you are looking for more loving areas, try the forward facing haven suite, not in the haven complex but room is great, true 1 bedroom suite
  8. So club balcony is basically a balcony with a bigger bathroom, also has a few perks. Joy has suites , included concierge’s service and priority boarding and debark, haven suites are top of the line for NCL, priority everything, butler, concierge, private restaurant, pool, sundeck, observation lounge on some ships.
  9. Sure, Will take photos of the officers board.
  10. Thanks, Will take lots of pictures of the Room! I have an upgrade bid on the DOS but honestly it is sold out so really have no shot at it lol.
  11. Well, the last Live Review I attempted was on the Getaway out of Port Canaveral, but that cruise got canceled last September due to hurricane. Pretty sure we are safe for this sailing on the Joy. This Cruise my Wife and I will be traveling with our 16 year daughter (Her 1st cruise ever) and her 17 year old friend (also 1st cruise). Wife and I cruise a lot mainly on NCL but have cruised RCCL, Princess, and Carnival as well but prefer NCL. We will be staying in the Aft Facing Haven suite, 1st time in this suite but our past 2 NCL cruises have both been in the Haven on the Breakaway. We live in a town called Kings Mountain NC, pretty much about 25 minutes outside of Charlotte. We will be driving down to Miami, so we decided we will leave about 3:30pm on Thursday and drive just south of Jacksonville and stop for the night and finish the drive Friday morning to Miami. We Plan on being in Miami about 2 or 3pm, hopefully time to get checked in, we will be staying at the YVE downtown Miami right across from Biscayne Market Place. I am hoping to be able to upload lots pics starting the day we leave for Miami all the way through the cruise.
  12. So Get the Paradise Beach All inclusive for $69 PP and then Pay $50 for the Day Bed, You have to reserve them on the website. Day beds are by the Pool and you can have up to 4 people on them
  13. Yea, From Working on Cruise Ships for years as well as cruising Coxen Hole very rarely you will miss. Costa Maya on the other hand I have missed that port almost as many times as not being able to tender in Grand Cayman lol
  14. Yea I was looking at Costa maya cruise ship schedule and had Joy on it for today with 3 other ships, also next week was also still on their schedule again with 3 other ships. My guess is they were concerned overcrowding of the port. When we go the week of the 8th only one other ship in with us so guess we are still going.
  15. So my opinion is the only people I get upset with is the ones that come out at 7am claim chairs and don’t come back for hours. Wife and I are always on deck early so never a problem getting a chair. We watch for entertainment how long things stay on chairs with nobody there. We will be by the pool and will run to grab food, go on slides, and other things but never gone for too long.
  16. I am curiouse as well, We are on the sailing after you on the 8th, honestly GSC would be much better
  17. Just noticed Harvest Cay and Belize City, Our Itinerary which i thought was the same has Costa Maya Instead of Belize City. Wonder if that was the original itinerary
  18. I must be losing my mind, thought she was in Belize yesterday
  19. So we are cruising on April 8th 2023 on the Joy and noticed last cruised they missed costa Maya and it appears the Joy is off the Coast of Belize with 2 other ships. Does anyone know if the Joy was able to make it to costa Maya today?
  20. We have the Haven aft on the Joy, only bid on the DOS since we didn’t want to lose out on balcony space. Cruise is 4/8 and all Havens sold out so we will be absolutely fine with our aft facing haven suite
  21. my experience winning bids, I have had all go expired then one still pending and about 3 hours later it went to processing and got the email saying congrats. So yes a good sign
  22. Kids can absolutely use the Haven pool they simply can’t use the Haven Sundeck
  23. So all I can say is what I usually tip on a 7 day cruise. We give our butler $100 at beginning of cruise, and another $100 at the end. But since we will have 2 extra guest this April we will probobly go $200 at end
  24. Paradise beach it is over my head at 5’9. But for good reason as there are jumping platforms off most of them
  25. We also sailed the Breakaway about a year ago and was locked out until 21 days out.
