  1. Isn't that the truth? It's been a couple of years now, and the app still isn't seamless.
  2. Princess has eliminated fixed seating, traditional dining. You might get a shared table at 6:20, but there may be different people and different waitstaff from one night to the nest. You would not be alone in thinking this system stinks.
  3. They are helpful at the tenders.
  4. They have done this after COVID but not consistently. I prefer the inside showing to MUTS for the reason Thrak states. I can’t hear the dialogue half the time. MissP22 is also right. The choice isn’t always current. I use it as an opportunity to catch up on movies I have missed.
  5. I’m hoping for full English at the morning buffet. Even better if they did it in the MDR.
  6. Good advice! I will ask for sandwiches and cakes and not the scones. I do not like scones. I realize I am maybe one of 26 people on earth who don't, but that leaves more for the rest of you, right? The baggies idea is brilliant.
  7. I seem to remember them showing up around the time we made Platinum, and I probably thought there was some connection. They have not shown up consistently over the years, some cruises yes, others no. DH likes them for grocery store runs.
  8. Let's hope things improve before June. Staff shortages and supply issues seem to be industry wide. That app is a Princess responsibility, and I am not surprised a bad product is still behaving badly. Great thread! We are all thankful!
  9. We got a bag on one post-covid cruise. It surprised me. I think maybe they were just trying to use up the remaining supply.

  11. We have a deluxe balcony in the Sky in June. I’m happy with a love seat. We decided since this a long cruise (2 weeks)we would spend the FCC on dining venues and excursions rather than the mini suite. It was a tough choice for me to give up club class dining, though.
  12. Thanks, everyone. The picture tells me a lot! I discovered a couple of cruises back that they were taking the tea leftovers to the buffet for late afternoon snacks. The promo material on the Sky is making a bit of deal about the Royal Tea, so I'm assuming it's a go now.

  15. I will be on the Sky next cruise. I'm thinking of doing the afternoon tea delivery to the cabin (for Elites only.) I think that is still a viable Elite benefit. I have often threatened to do it but haven't yet. Of course, this depends on regular afternoon tea (no cost, dining room) still existing, and whether or not the Royal Tea (upcharge, piazza) replaces the old tea service. Do both tea services happen simultaneously? So has anyone done the tea to the cabin thing? How did it work out?
  16. I was talking about the MDR, not Rudi's, and yes, there has been meatloaf in the MDR.
  17. DMW and the app make it next to impossible to get the same waiters every night. Princess post-covid is very different from the Princess we knew.
  18. You can order at one times, but the dishes will still come out individually. A better approach is to tell the server you want to hurry things along. One advantage to having one dedicated wait staff (as in the old days of traditional dining) was that your waiters knew you and adjusted their service for you (and not having to tell a new one the same thing night after night as in the case now.)

  20. There have been about 15 threads here on this very question, and every one of them has confirmed that Vines is still there in its spot on the Sky. If someone reports that it's gone, I will be mightily surprised.
  21. I can't imagine it is. Plated to order, sure, but if I order the meatloaf, I don't think they are back there in the galley baking one just for me.
  22. The tub is not large, so long soaking baths might not work. The separate seating area is great.
