  1. Hcat - Since Jim is into tutorials, why don't we do a quick one. If you quote a post with pictures and commentary that is not relevant to your reply, just click on the photo and click delete. To delete text, just block it and click delete. Add your reply language and send. To reply to multiple posts at one time, use the "+" that is to the left of the "Quote". That will drop each quoted post into one reply. Then delete any extraneous photos/text. Back to the trip to Bermuda.
  2. Can you share the disclosure info you found? I cancelled and rebooked on December 7 and didn't have this issue (although it was handled by my TA). I ended up paying a $35 fee. I didn't think the "Non-Refundable Deposit" became a big thing until the recent Set Sail (or whatever it is called) Promotion which is only a month or so old. But I could be wrong.
  3. Spencer is another widely-used operator on St. Lucia, which we are booked with for the second time. As others have said, their business is their (and their employees) livelihood. I'm sure there is also a mutual agreement among the various boat/van operators to assist each other if problems arise. Go and enjoy!! I haven't booked through the ship for 25 years.
  4. Nevermind, wrong thread.
  5. but he will remember you....😉 I live in Middlesex NJ, just down the mountain from Warren. Enjoying your and Iain's newest escapade!
  6. When in doubt....Don't. You can always upgrade once onboard. There is no discount before or after boarding on the upgrade. It is $10/day plus 20%. Plus, a bartender will get credit for having sold the upgrade where calling Celebrity to order it will not. The only downside is dependent on your departure port. If the ship is still docked you may have to pay the city/state sales tax as well, so ask about that. Once at sea, they no longer charge the tax. Always ask. You can just stay within the Classic if tax is being charged during the first couple of hours. It's a great way to make a "favorite" bartender at your favorite bar.😀🍸🍹🍺
  7. Actually, the Equinox casino was supposed to receive some pretty bigs changes. The picture originally shown (pre-Bahamas incident) had a new bar and an area with cocktail tables and chairs and numerous TVs. I paid particular interest since that is where we tend to hang out. I was looking forward to the new setup in October.🙁
  8. vtcruising - Can you send me an email (there is a link in my signature). Would like to chat about some of the content in your Edge SS. I like what I see. Thanks
  9. What beach? Maybe contact someone on island? Need more details.
  10. In your Cruise Planner, click on "Dining and Beverages", then "Celebrity Select Dining" (see below). But with that said, this is Celebrity's website we are talking about. It takes a lot of time to do each day and on my presently anticipated cruise, it has disappeared twice. So do it, and print it! "It" ends up in your "calendar" and/or "cart". That is what I would print and save. Otherwise, call Celebrity and have them do it and send you a confirmation. Good Luck!

  13. Why don't you both email me using the link in my signature and I'll facilitate the email address exchange for you. Carry on Paul, always a treat to follow along!
  14. They may have changed the picture for the Solstice Class, but did not update the language. My comments are based on what I expect on the Equinox based on the above rendering in the fall. New Carpet - No New Drapery - Yes New Coffee Table (and sofa) - No (yet I am encouraged that we will get a new coffee table in the future) New TV - No New Art - No New Veranda Furniture - Yet to be seen (I'd prefer they left well enough alone) Though, they are supposedly redoing all the veranda cabin bathrooms. New sink, shower, etc. They can only do what they can do after the unfortunate incident in the Bahamas. We will see come June. It's possible they will keep a crew on for sailings that are not fully booked to knock out other unoccupied cabins for the new carpet and furnishings swap. Time will tell.
