She might, but 5k-6k can cost anywhere from $0 to $10k+. I find it is best to play with my budget, and the points that I have are the points that I have. I play because that is what I would do regardless. Chasing points can be far more expensive than the rewards you are seeking. Have fun, and good luck. Masters here and I get offers every week, sometimes more depending on the promotions, and they are always for the 02 or 01 series. This year I have averaged 1825 points a night, and last year was an average of 1660 per night. (Casino year) Last year was a really good year. The one time my offers disappeared it had to do with my email address somehow ending up on my DH's account as well. Once they fixed that, they started coming again and have not stopped.

I cruise a lot on the short ones, but that is because I still work, and I do not have to use any PTO. (Not to mention they limit my ability to spend in the casino. 🙄 Ha! )

Yes.. earned! The same way one earns miles with an airline, a free sandwich after buying 5 at a sub shop.. the list goes on and on. My response had nothing to do with pinnacles in the suite lounge. It had to do with someone that looks for people with pins, and laughs. It was a pathetic comment.

Wow.. this post wreaks of envy. I am Pinnacle, and do not wear my pin... because that is simply my preference. Why would you laugh at someone that wears it? What joy is missing from your life that would lead you to look for people wearing a pin, to laugh at them for wearing what they earned or are proud of? Seems like you should focus on getting some happiness in your life so you can focus on you, instead of focusing on others.

I was on this sailing. I heard the call for blood donations at 3am as I was walking from the casino back to the cabin. The family posted on our FB group, and thanked everyone that showed up to donate, but then also asked for privacy. Apparently TMZ and other news outlets contacted members of the FB group, to try to get information. Regardless of knowing that there had to be some bad choices being made by a 16 year old (it's not like 16 year olds are known for good choices) I feel so bad for this young man and his family.

I am on the Dec 1 sailing as well. I am also on the 11/24 sailing. I have been able to book my entertainment for the 11/24 but not yet for 12/1. If 12/1 is schedule like 11/24, Mama Mia will be on day 1. I have it booked for 8pm on 11/24.

Of course people get sick from the food. All 4 times I have been on Odyssey we go to Teppanyaki. I have the same thing pretty much all the time including the salad. Well 4 of us went the last time we were on board, and two of us spend much of the next day hangin out near a restroom... and drinking lots of water to stay hydrated. LOL. Anyway, we thought that because two of us had the shrimp, it must have been the shrimp. Well then we ran into another couple that was at our station, and one of them had the same issue. That person did not have the shrimp... the common denominator in all of it was the salad. It happens.... (you can add an "sh" to that as well, and it would be even more appropriate.) 🤣 I will still go back to Teppanyaki. Picking up stuff like this from food every so often is going to happen, I cannot really see a way around it. Luckily, we were just needing to be near a restroom for about 18-24 hours until it all worked its way out.

I swear, I do not remember this at all. Maybe because I always get veggies only.

Stir fry has been my go to for years and years. I have never seen the meat raw, it was always precooked.

I have never seen had them put anything less than what I ask for in the stir fry. Granted, I don't like meat in a stir fry, but when I tell them extra onions, and then again say more... more... more 🧅 🤣they never have a problem adding what I want. I think folks just need to speak up when it comes to those made to order sections.

I always, always ask for a side of horseradish to add to the cocktail sauce. Makes it perfect.

Yes, I have seen it a couple times. I happen to like it, but I completely get why others may not. I am kinda hoping for it to show up on the three day cruises, because if I am that busy seeing shows, that will be less time my butt is in the casino. However, just looking at my app it is not listed for the three day cruise that happens this Friday, nor for my 3 night sailings in the future, so that show may only happen on the 4 night sailings. (It is listed on the 4 night sailing that is currently in progress)

Doesn't matter if you know them or not, it's not how the program works, and people who only play tables get offers as well. It's all about spend & ADT. As for the $50... well that may have been when royal was so desperate to get people on the ship in hopes they would spend money, but those days are long gone. Unless you win on the $50 and keep playing it back in to increase your points and/or ADT.. you will not get a comp with spending $50.

Yes. Table games are still counted for purposes of comps.
