That name brought back memories. I grew up in Colorado Springs and he was the meteorologist on a local station of ours. I didn't realize he was here in Tampa... not that I would since I do not watch much news here.

That's too bad about Tampa. I love sailing out of here, and IMO nothing beats a Radiance Class ship. Yes, while I love Radiance & Vision class, I would enjoy that bridge tore down to get a Voyager class in here. I do not care about people spending an extra hour on their commute as long as I have more choices in cruise ships from Tampa. 🤣

Food is so subjective. I have to say that I do not think I have ever had worse pizza. That is not saying much though, even when pizza is not that good, it's not that bad either. 🤷‍♂️ My opinion about Fish & Chips. I would rather have it back the way it was when you paid for it. It is certainly not the same. I have sailed Indy many, many times and each time I would get something from F&S, because I liked it. When I heard it was complimentary, I thought that was nice... until I had it. It's not the same, and the horrible line now makes it not worth the $0 cost. oh well.

It was annoying if you could not get the glass elevator. It would be easier if a whole set of elevators on one side or the other would go all the way up. Then there would be no luck involved with getting the right elevator. On the other Oasis class ships, the elevators on both port and starboard go all the way to 17.

I like Wonder, but I do not like it as much as I thought I would. We had Mason Jar for dinner, and I could barely eat anything except the cornbread, and I do not even like cornbread. However, we did not try the brunch, and I keep hearing that people like that better. The one thing that annoys me on the Wonder is access to Deck 17 and 18 via only the glass elevators instead of an entire half of the elevator banks. Trivial as we can all probably use the additional exercise, but it just annoys me. I really do like the casino layout on the Wonder... far better casino bar layout than the other Oasis class ships.

June 18 on Wonder had 19 Pinnacles.

Shorts are fine... I was getting board with talk of half and half. I guess this is a welcomed change for me. 😳

I prefer half & half in regular coffee. There is nothing fattening or unhealthy about it.. even when had multiple times a day.

I do not think I have ever seen a sale for that card. IIRC the card will still be $31 on board. Plus gratuity of course.

This scared me for just a second, but then I realized it was the Adventure I was on when I first had a PV cabin. Let's just say I forgot for a minute after coming out of the shower. When I say a minute, it was like closer to 3 minutes, and I might have been doing a little dance to the music I was playing on my phone. I do not know if anyone saw, but I did not hear any Alpha calls, so I think I got lucky.

August 2024 sailings will not show up on instant certs until the September on-board certificate batch. That does not mean Utopia will be on there, though. Email offers for July/Aug sailings will not likely hit the casino offers website until March/April next year.

This is not completely true. You cannot use your tier cruise on a ship that is less than 1 year old. (that is even debatable at times as I have done it) However, ships less than a year old are frequently on offers and certificates.

I prefer cottage cheese to ricotta in lasagna. My mother's recipe was always with cottage, and I still make it that way to this day. This is probably why I do not like lasagne anywhere but at home, because almost all the time it is ricotta. I did not realize they made it with cottage cheese at GK, but the pic of that lasagne did not look appealing.

Just Fyi - That is not really an obstructed view, and you will not see the lifeboat. There is a canopy above the lifeboats, and it is more of a down ward obstruction. Top of the canopy is basically level with your balcony floor.(just a bit higher) No obstruction looking out.

I have tried it 6 or 7 times now. I no longer attempt because it did not work in any of those instances. I'm sure it has nothing to do with Royal's IT department. 😆

LOL this is the exact reason I went to only once a day. When I take a nap, I get my pillows (All 7 of them 🙄 ) in the right place, and don't want to have to do that again at bed time. I had started by asking them not to make the bed, then I realized just easer to tell em at the beginning of the cruise just once a day.

I have been doing once a day service since long before they decided to change it. Does not matter the room I am in.. Suite or non suite, I only want morning service. Sorry for those that do not like it.

My experience is opposite, which is why I stuck with Indy. Indy has had fantastic service on all of my sailings.

In March it did way more than make noice. It actually bounced about 10 times on the way down. I was sure we woke neighbors when we lowered it. LOL

LOL. You know in 1720 that thing was horrendous. I was there on the March 5 sailing. However, I just got back from the June 18 sailing, and my friend booked 1720. (We actually played a game to see if I could hide something in March, and it would still be there in June) When I went up there to show her how loud it was, it was smooth and quiet. I was bummed out, because she would have thought it was hilarious.
