I have thought this for a long time. It may be bigger GRT wise, (that may have a lot to do with the Aquadome) but physical size I question. Oasis class ships have 8 decks of balconies vs Icon's 7 decks. I would like to see them next to each other. Wonder has cabins on 17 & 18 as well, in fact more cabins than Icon has.

I would hope that they follow their company policy that they agreed to when they signed on. Lying is never the answer. Even better... if you can't read, stay off message boards. I am not sure that they are raised because of non tippers. 100+ cruises and I am at GS all the time including in the long line at the end of the cruise, and my hearing is just fine. I have yet to hear one person remove gratuities. I have heard many questions about gratuities, but never heard someone remove them. If the speculation on this message board was to be believed, I would have heard it by now. I believe it is an extremely small number of folks, and raising the gratuities have nothing to do with those who remove them. Reading for comprehension, rather than reading just to respond... might serve you well. My overall opinion - tipping is personal. I will tip how I do, and you should tip how you do. My way is none of your business, and your way is none of my business. I completely understand why some are removing auto grats, and instead tipping in cash. I have not reached that breaking point yet but if the trend towards lower/less service, while raising auto grats continue... I can see myself getting there.

I saw them on Indy in Nov 2017, and they were fantastic. I really would like to see them on a ship again.

For a lot of my sailings (weekends) it is because I work that day, and I want to be home by 930am-10am. Working that day lets me avoid taking any PTO. Also, for most sailings, I am like the OP... I do not want to embark before 2p-230p.

I hope it does not rain in Cozumel on Saturday, I want the ship to myself. (Boarding Radiance tomorrow... first time on Radiance) UGH. I was on Brilliance last February and we were bouncing around all over the place... the pitching was really bad. It was the first time I ever felt queasy, so I may need some dramamine for tomorrow's cruise.

I understand. We might have each read it differently as well. I read it as they took the opportunity to get rid of their stuff. Maybe you read it as they got rid of their stuff in order to do the cruise. I do get the curiosity though. That is the one and only thing that would stop me. My dog. Our dogs will always come first. Unfortunately, I do not know how long we have left with our current dog. The one in my profile pic was my first baby, and I lost him when he was 16 years old in Dec 2019. Still hurts terribly, so when we lose our current dog, (Who is currently 12) I am not sure I want to go through that again.

I am not defending what someone else did, what they did is none of my business. I said what I would do, and if I was of retirement age, it would have happened.

If I was of retirement age, that is exactly what I would do! I would take the opportunity to downsize completely, stockpile all the proceeds, and when the cruise is over... start fresh in a condo or very small home, with minimal maintenance and upkeep. Sounds perfect to me.

I have not been able to get them since the menu change early this year. Before that I got them the exact way you mentioned above. Ask for them on day one, and I would have them every day after that.

Price is better online, better to buy it now. Also, a Grand Suite is not Star Class, it is Sky Class.

I was under the impression that it was for some sort of structural integrity since the Promenade was opened up to the outside. However, every time I see it.. including this video, I cannot tell where anything is attached to it to provide structural support. I will have to wait to see in person I guess.

It might not be sold out. They may be doing maintenance on that sailing for whatever reason. Have you called them?

Is that only 4 terminals at guest services at 4:45 mark on the video. That is half the Oasis class terminals, unless I am missing something there.

I moved here in 2015, and yes you are right it is the only reason I am able to cruise so much while still in my working years. Plus, I am not a good flyer.
