Also on this cruise, last night the show was Encore. We didn’t go, so can’t comment.
I agree with @We_like_to_cruise so far, top notch service all round. We are having a blast!

It takes a bit for the charges to catch up. We traded on embarking, we were charged for coffee that day, coffee card charged to the account the next day, and coffee came without charges. Refund of coffee card charge and coffees from day one, didn’t occur until day 3 of the cruise.

There were sufficient towels, we didn’t ask for more, so I think we already had the full compliment of towels for 2 when we boarded.

We had 2 separate booking when we sailed on the Discovery. Both insides, on different decks. We just asked onboard that we each be allowed access to both cabins. It was done immediately with no questions asked.
we only put our stuff in one cabin, and had no issue with the cabin steward. We did, out of courtesy, let the other steward know we would not be using the cabin, but checked in when the immigration and disembarkation documents were delivered.
we saved a little, but more importantly for us, got 2 cruise credits each, one step closer to elite!

I have definitely seen floatation jackets out by the pool on a recent sailing. It would have been the Discovery or the Grand.

@CruisinNewb we have booked the Moxy later this month. How are you finding it? Is there anywhere nearby for breakfast?

This is the first release since becoming elite. When I look at the sailings (logged in or logged out), I do not see the prices, nor have the ability to book online. Am I doing something wrong?

I use cruisetimetable.com You can search by cruise ship, ports visited etc.

We used Twitter to contact Princess and the issue was resolved within 3 hrs

@MissP22 we had shore excursion credit showing pre-cruise. When we boarded there was a note in our cabin telling us one of our excursions was cancelled - this was where the credit came from. We had to scramble to re-book an alternative as many tours were sold out by then

I followed your link, but the medallion is still blue not black. But when you click right through to the order page it shows black. We will see what turns up!

We are in the same position, having just reached elite. We called Princess after our last cruise and they changed all future bookings to show elite (which it does on the website). On the app, I show elite, but DH shows blue! He called the medallion helpline and they said they would order his medallion as elite and change the app. The app still shows blue.
We pick up our medallions at the port as we are In Canada, so will have to wait and see. Fortunately pre-cruise I can access the booking to sort out our dining and will get priority boarding. We suspect we will get a blue and black medallion at the port. We will go to guest services when on board to get it changed.And you should have priority boarding as platinum, get your status changed for the website and print your travel summary to take with you. That will show correct status.
For the dining reservations, maybe another member can chime in.

Washer, drier and soap all free on the Grand recently. Soap was also listed on the medallion app, could be delivered to you anywhere free of charge!

A good description, but not needed, you have to have masks on around the food, once seated at a table the masks can come off.
