Reformed smoker myself but I very often find that just the mere fact that a person smokes, elicits vehement reactions from people even if they never have to encounter said smoking area. I always enjoy sitting with the smokers, usually a fun easy going friendly non-judgmental group.

Correct it’s just below the bridge and I was told its used by crew only primarily for R&R -
Just like many of say regarding tips, cash is king. Same applies to the crazy costs Celebrity is pushing now, for everything, cash is king, and I’m giving mine for my May 2023 cruise to Oceania. First time for me but I have to test the waters so to speak, I’ll find out soon enough.

I wish Celebrity would at least allow an option on what (if any) beverage package we wanted, premium is very pricey, especially if one does not ever drink alcohol, regardless of the reason.

For some reason or other US lags far behind most other developed nations in the world in percentage of citizens who have a passport, I believe we are at 35ish%?

If you ever sail on the Edge, grab a drink at the Eden bar on deck 5, and just outside there is a beautiful wrap around huge deck smoking area. Super comfy chairs, small sofas and they provide drink service!

Apologies, I was confusing it with the Celebrity process of using OBC before the cruise. I've yet to take my first cruise on O, that is not until May 2023.

Now to decide whether to just opt for 7 or 10 nights (they are both on a smaller ship) For us, we sail for the itin, we do like 10+ day cruises BUT if the embark/disembark is of particular interest we always add 3-4 days. Upcoming 7-day cruise ends in Venice/Trieste so we will very much look forward to disembarking and spending several days in the area.

I was able to do all of mine; haircut, facial and massage, all on-line via my planner using OBC .

On Edge in Oct/Nov I had premium and it was not good, so I assume basic is even less gooder...though Edge has now been upgraded to Starlink
