😄 That would be called cheerleading.

Being skeptical of success isn't a desire for failure.

Why is Icon underpowered when compared to Oasis?
broberts replied to JP350's topic in Royal Caribbean International
System designs have to take into account edge conditions. While you may not have experienced a particular situation you can't say that it has not and will never happen. In my (unrelated) experience, the most reliable systems are rarely the most complex. -

At a guess you disabled your notification default. That will not affect currently followed threads. To do that go to the roll call thread. Find the Following button, tap / click on it. Then tap / click on Unfollow.

If you are Canadian citizens travelling on regular passports no visa is required for visits up to 90 days. See Entry and exit requirements, https://travel.gc.ca/destinations/australia. An ETA, (electronic travel authority) is required. An ETA is valid for 12 months permitting multiple visits of up to 3 months each. ETA are easily obtained using the official Australian government app. The government web page (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/electronic-travel-authority-601) suggests that most ETA are granted immediately.

It's only usurious if one doesn't value the time and bother required. I don't think anyone is forcing the use of CIBT.

Are multi-port usb chargers banned
broberts replied to PattyW's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Likely depends on if you are looking at a charger sold in N.America or Europe. All my N.American plug USB chargers have a circled UL symbol. -
At https://www.gov.uk/guidance/check-when-you-can-get-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta#who-can-apply-from-27-november-2024 see Who can apply from 27 November, 2024. No idea if ETA s required for BVI,

This would be true of any mass market cruise line.

There is no topic area "Shore Excursions". For what the OP described the best solution is to find the "Roll Call" for the booked cruise. Within that thread one can ask about, propose, and arrange excursions. @Host Kat's post has guidance and links to access roll calls. To research possible tours and venues of interest on should use the https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/2-ports-of-call/ area.

Are multi-port usb chargers banned
broberts replied to PattyW's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Not so. If they did they would not be USB ports and would likely destroy any electronic device that uses a USB cable to connect. Not appropriate for a cruise ship but illustrates what I was talking abou: https://leviton.com/products/residential/usb-wall-outlet-chargers. -
Are multi-port usb chargers banned
broberts replied to PattyW's topic in Royal Caribbean International
It's not impractical to replace existing outlet assemblies with ones that include a couple of USB-A and possibly USB-C outlets. USB ports do not require a lot of space. Since a powered up phone with WiFi is almost essential onboard, it seems to me that cruise lines bear some responsibility. Until a retrofit, why can't the cruise line offer European adapters? 😀 -
Do you need passport Boston to Boston going through Canada?
broberts replied to chatnoire1967's topic in Canadian Cruisers
From https://www.cbp.gov/travel/us-citizens/western-hemisphere-travel-initiative: "Canadian citizens can present a valid passport, Enhanced Driver’s License, or Trusted Traveler Program card (NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST)." "U.S. citizens on closed-loop cruises (cruises that begin and end at the same U.S. port) are able to enter the United States with a birth certificate and government-issued photo ID. Please be aware that you may still be required to present a passport to enter the countries your cruise ship is visiting. Check with your cruise line to ensure you have the appropriate documents." -

Going forward you can turn off reaction notifications. Tap / click the user menu (3 horizontal bars top right). Select Account, Account Settings. You should see something like Select Notification Settings to see Scroll down and expand Mentions & My Content. Uncheck Email. If you don't want reactions to appear in your Notification List, uncheck that as well.

Arguably CPAP is essential to life, so risking its loss in checked luggage strikes me as a poor choice. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/aus/en/faq/questions/can-i-bring-an-extension-onboard

Without knowing the itinerary, even presuming Canadian citizenship, not really possible to comment. Rules differ depending on ports of call and sometimes cruise line. Many cruises out of US and Canadian ports do not have a six month requirement for Canadian and US passports.

If you haven't already, you might try using an incognito (private) browser window. If that works, clearing cookies & local data for any Royal Caribbean website should fix the issue.

That presumes the cruise line knew of the large group when you booked. I wonder, do you have a size over which a cruise line should inform you when booking? How about types of groups? At time of booking, did you ask if there were any large groups booked?
