I think I am remembering correctly, but is the Office still open in Hoonah? The last time I was there (Pre-covid) I can remember getting some good food there, with a great view of the water.
Thanks for the update!! At least I will be on a cruise and hopefully I will be able to catch some football. If not so be it, I will enjoy my time anyways.
Thanks for that information.
I just saw on another post that RCCL says the North Star has not been closed at all and I called RCCL today and they said it has not been closed. I guess that just goes to show that at RCCL one hand doesn't know what the other is doing.
Is there a sports bar on Quantum of the Seas where I will be able to see college and pro football? Also, what's the status of the North Star, open or closed?
Julia Street Cruise Terminal is correct and there are several parking spots close to there. I parked a block away and I think it was something like $20 per day. If my memory is correct.
I did Radiance from New Orleans in November of 2022. I would highly recommend it to anyone as long as they don't have to drive in New Orleans or surrounding areas!!!
We are sailing mid-September to Alaska with stops in Juneau, Icy Strait and Sitka. My question is will this be a good time for whale watching or should I use my excursion money elsewhere?
Check the cruise app, I am 80 days out on my Quantum of the Seas cruise to Alaska and I have already been able to North Star and I Fly. This will also be my first cruise on a larger ship, most of my 30 plus cruises have been on Radiance Class ships.
Check your planner under the dining tab. I did the Taste or Royal on my Vision repositioning cruise and it was by far the best meal I have had on any of my 30 plus cruise!!
What did you think of the Mediterranean? Were there restaurants close by for a late dinner? I am staying there in September before my third Alaskan cruise.
I am looking for a one night, one person hotel stay in Seattle. Sailing will be on a Monday and looking to get into Seattle around noon. Would hope to stay in an IHG hotel or Marriot, but not particular, it could be any.
I would just jump in to say Radiance is my absolute favorite ship. I drove from Chicago to New Orleans just to be there when they got to NO. Plus the cruises weren't bad either.
