I am currently on Majestic Princess and have the "old" Plus Package. The problem is many of the menus have not been updated . So if you order a $15 dollar wine off an old menu you will/ may be charged . That $15dollar wine is probably $20 on the new menu - if you can find one. No wonder bar staff and passengers are confused.

On Majestic Princess now and can order 9 desserts( includes cookies ) and chocolate cake is still shown as available

on Majestic at the moment and most menus in the bars and on the room app are the old prices. The $12 wines from the old package are now $17 - $19 so still in the plus package with the new $22 price cap. Not sure what happens if you order a drink between $16 old and $22 new using and old pricelist - thinking it is included. Probably charged the difference ? Much confusion.

Well even back in 2019 it was $50 for 7-10day cruise in a balcony or above stateroom and Italy 52 says the rates are the same as shown for a FCD purchased Aug 2022. Am I missing where the cganges/ reductions are ?

Just checked my FCD letter from 2019 and there does not appear to be any change to the amount of onboard credit for each cruise length or stateroom category

have done several Christmas/ New Year cruises . Princess did a nice job on Golden Princess in 2019 - especially for the children - Santa arrived by tender and each child recived quite a generous gift. But by far the best was on HAL Veendam to Antarctica. A magical and memorable experience . The Captain and crew were amazing in creating an shared holiday experience for all on board. Great food, decorations , entertainment and free flowing champagne. It was amazing. And the passengers embraced the holiday spirit by wearing national dress on the formal nights, - kilts, saris. kimonos, black tie It was a real parade of nations - incredible the clothing many passengers carried so far from home. Probably will be different on Westerdam given it is summer .

According to Princess website if you test positive you and your family members or close contacts will not be permitted to board. you and youe travelling party will be entitled to 100% FCC. Havn't mastered the link but can be found under Cruisehealth FAQ Sailing Aust. and NZ

At present, as stated in the link provided above, a passenger must self attest ( and upload proof along with ID ) to a negative RAT test within 24 hours of boarding or a PCR test within 48 hours. A RAT test IS required. May be subject to change in future but this is required now.

January 2nd is a statutory holiday in NZ. Probably why tour cancelled. Venues could be closed and staff holiday pay rates may mean it is not viable to run.
