  1. We use a TA. Needed additional deposit to reprise 2nd time. The issue is the terms are often different - deposit and often only for new bookings. Have cancelled and rebooted in the past too. Just read the fine print.
  2. Technically they can and will find you. In reality IMO easier and faster to get drinks from my favorite bar/mixologist and food from the buffet so food doesn't get cold.
  3. No. Paid actually by Princess through your on board folio.
  4. Guarantee cabins can be assigned literally up to departure time. Usually a couple days or more out. Always 1-2% cancellations at the last week or two. No worries
  5. You might go to the roll call for the current Grand Princess cruise. That said agree you are not likely to know until you board and maybe not then for all nights.
  6. Pricing is often strange. Booked 21 day TA last year with Plus at $7800 in a deluxe balcony. Dropped steadily this spring. Then dropped to just under $4000 two days before final.payment. Back to $7000 today.
  7. Congratulations. I have not been able to get the app to show any bookings. Just the website until I board. Called in to get boarding details recorded. PS, I tried twice. Not worth any stress for more IMO.
  8. Using Google- 10-13 night cruise = 2 formal nights 14-20 = 3 21-27 = 4 Presume you are on a holiday cruise. In 2022 there were holiday themes but nothing like a White Night. Dress was mostly very casual with a few in tails etc. Only New Years Eve very formal. Your question would be best asked on your Roll Call or find reviews of similar cruises for last couple years
  9. You need to link everyone involved in those cabins using the booking numbers. Discussed several times elsewhere. I attempted it once - unsuccessfully. Had friends simply book separately and sorted it once on board.
  10. Suggest you look at both the roll call for your cruise and the ports forum . Lots of opinions already posted for you.
  11. Obviously if you are part of a group, upgrading with defeat the reason you booked cabins close together. Easy to note no upgrades.

  13. Princess has all sorts of IT issues. Last cruise called them and they filled everything in.
  14. No worth discussing. Princess status levels offer pretty much nothing till Elite. Took them months to find my first cruise. Then set up.a second account after my second. Am guessing after a dozen cruises I will still be ruby and have 12 accounts. IT for Princess and others often has problems. Nuf said.
  15. Agree. The abuse that a cruise ship receives is unbelievable. The OP noted lots of cosmetic and small issues. Many cannot be sorted with passengers on board. 5+ years of wear - remember crew used ship during covid - take their toll. Am sure we could find similar items in our home that needs repair. Some would take a minute and others longer. Should I replace my guest bedroom window with a broken seal? Sure, but will wait till weather and my schedule permit as it will take 3 days to get the new window back from the glaziers.

  17. Yes, but not till a few days before your cruise. We don't bother. Not worth stressing about a stupid sea pass that may not arrive in time. Easier to pickup at the pier.
  18. Agree. Lots of great places. Probably the best is a few days with Airbnb. Get to really know Barcelona
  19. Agree. We wear the same outfits. Love my baseball caps, but they are forward facing and my grandmother would return to haunt me if I wore one while eating dinner!
  20. Good condition? Asked about every ship and Regal like the others is just fine. Which deck is very personal. We like a high deck with a bit less cover. Others in our family a lower deck. A bit more vibration down low aft. Less motion though.
  21. Don't own any shoes. DW and I do.wear socks with our Birkis on what used to be formal night. In some 700 nights of cruising have never worn anything but sandals. Just so they are not fluorescent pink all ok.
  22. Don't understand what you are saying.. If the payment is fine for that card then what is the problem? If the card will not go through there is either an issue with the card - call your bank - or with the Princess website - call Princess. Another reason I use my TA.
