Agree. To play would you need to remember when you were married?
-
Really? One would think so but not always. On our only use of EZ Air had multiple airline flight changes. At the last minute was changed from American to Delta at DFW. With a connection time of 15 minutes! While American might have held the flight - adjacent gates - Delta certainly would not. If you assume EZ will notice AND fix the problem AND notify you - good luck. You need to be proactive with all travel.today.

Correct. FBC has contracts with certain airlines. Not all of them. A search engine will search most airlines but always all - Southwest for example. A TA can search everything. Agree looking first then decide if the possible restrictions and price makes FBC worth booking. Domestically often not. International flights probably.

Celebrity seems to have only had a problem with IT once. It started on the first day and morphed it's way to today.

Any restrictions on bringing food items aboard?
Arizona Wildcat replied to Crustyrabbit's topic in Princess Cruises
No meat or dairy allowed into the UK. This from the UK website. Heading there tomorrow -
The upper berth is an adventure. Will you 4yr old think before getting down?

Yup. Can't use FBC to Rome unless Civitivecchia is the origination port. Suggest using a search engine and then calling FBC. Remember FBC is not a travel agent. Just a consolidator who buys blocks of seats. Be careful to understand the rules before you book. There can be great international deals - but often big restrictions. As said FBC only deals with a few airlines so check the rest. Last you are restricted as to how many days before or after you can book with FBC and their agents do NOT know all the rules. Good hunting.

Yes,but the new program is still rolling out on the "wonderful " Princess website. Cancell your reservations and wait a while. Cruising is very different today and requires patience and flexibility. You might try moving your reservation to a TA or a CVP and let them handle stuff like this for you. My TA takes care of things with an email or a quick call.

Our bring a lanyard from home. I got one every club event and business meeting. Personally I use a pocket and no lanyard.

Celebrity Millennium - Is it a nice ship or too old?
Arizona Wildcat replied to nast's topic in Celebrity Cruises
Our favorite ship. Right size. 3 elevator banks. Real balconies. We'll maintained. That says it all. This topic comes up.almost weekly. Remember most of the reviews on CC are negative. People like to vent their complaints. Tens of thousands of happy cruisers have been on Millennium. -
14 night cruise during Christmas and New Years questions.
Arizona Wildcat replied to rcprncss's topic in Princess Cruises
Did a 14day cruise last year. Things to note. The ship was at maximum capacity with 3 and 4 in many cabins. There were approximately 400 children (1-12 years) and 400 teens! The teens seemed to roam about in groups of 10+ texting and generally oblivious of others. With so many on board, tendering took 3 hours and the wait and cabin staff were buried. The only way for a quiet dinner was after 8pm. Early dining was packed with families. Would consider if I had grandchildren under 20 or multigenerations traveling. For just my DW and self no thank you. -
Not worth getting upset about. Your original order was cancelled because of the hack. To get your order accepted a second time would have required calling Princess and probably an hour or more on the phone. Way too late now. Thus you will need to pick up your medallion at the pier. I simply go to the green line and they walk over to the boxes of medallions and grab mine. Never took more than a few minutes extra.

Different here. Was told if bid was accepted we would get an email, our checkin details would show the new cabin, and the credit card we provided would be immediately charged. Important to note if you booked using a UK address, the system is very different

Local electronic recycles refused them. Little in the way of electronics and no safe way to take apart. The two halves are heat fused together. I got them "apart" with a large hammer and a vice. Interesting, but hazardous as the case splintered into very sharp pieces.

Are Cruise Ships Stopping in Ketchikan after the Landslides?
Arizona Wildcat replied to Teechur's topic in Princess Cruises
Ships have continued to stop. The landslide is not close to the pier or the main shopping area. -
Has anyone kept medication in med center freezer?
Arizona Wildcat replied to PescadoAmarillo's topic in Princess Cruises
I have been told no. Needs to be a sealed pack. Was once made to throw the ice out. They did then assisted in my getting ice after the security checkpoint. Thus a soft cooler pack like blue ice and my meds came in a styro cube. A kids insulated lunch box would work fine. I froze my cooler pack to fit the cube. No issues with the medical center. Just let them know ahead of time. Celebrity had an officer meet me as I boarded and took my 8" cube and gave me details on times for getting my medication The TSA rules are posted online and really pretty clear. -
Has anyone kept medication in med center freezer?
Arizona Wildcat replied to PescadoAmarillo's topic in Princess Cruises
I take medications through airport security often. Use a Styrofoam cube and put the meds in side with a frozen cold pack. As long as the cold pack is at least partially frozen AND they can see it is a RX goes through just fine. Loose ice won't pass security checkpoints. -
Minor not having ability to charge on room key/medallion
Arizona Wildcat replied to Miss-Lizzie's topic in Princess Cruises
As for guest services, simplyvwait a bit till the line goes away. We simply do not give permission to our grandkids - teenagers - to charge. They ask a couple times each cruise, usually at dinner. -
As of last year the tips were 100% pooled and allocated to each ship. The reason is if allocated on each cruise staff would refuse to work UK or Australia cruises where tipping is not part of your culture. The tip pool is allocated on a trailing 6 month basis and included in theor salary. If everyone stopped tips, salaries would decline in a few months.

You will go through customs AND immigration on your outbound fight. Once if flying directly to the EU and a possible immigration check if changing flights in UK. Then customs and immigration leaving the EU AND in the US Nothing for port calls.

Same with many other businesses. Refunds go back on the gift card. Only know about HAL and Celebrity. Was refunded back to the original gift card. Agree a bit complicated.
