We are planning on doing a Western cruise on the Regal next month. I'm just "curious." If you have been on the Regal doing a Western cruise, did you find one way or another, that being on the Port or Starboard side was better than the other? If so, why?

I see two cafes listed among other things, but I'm "curious" of what they are about. The Princess Live Cafe almost looks like a small theater. I know there is the large Princess theater with big production going on. If this is a small theater, what kind of entertainment goes on in there? I'm thinking???, the International Cafe is a small food place, and if so, what kind of food does it have? I'm thinking they have something called a Juice Bar? If so, what type of juices does it have?

Thanks for the "answers" to my question. I failed to ask. I know it depends upon what port we are at, and I have no clue, but we will be on the Princess Regal. If you do not know, can you give me a "guesstimate" idea of how long it would take for us to walk, as most of can do some pretty good walking, even for several miles.

Thanks for your reply to my question. The reason I ask about snorkeling in Cozumel, as someone said it was a good place to do it, but it looks like it "depends" upon the area you go to.

It has been a few years since I have been to Roatan Honduras. We are coming in on the Regal Princess ship and I was wondering if there are any vendors that sell their OWN items they make, and if so, where do I find them?

Well I had to go BACK to my many pictures, and just check out how long it had been since I had been to Costa Maya or Mahahual myself. I know it was over 20 years ago, and as several have posted, I'm sure many things have changed, some for the good, some not. Guess the 8 of us will find out next month. I know several of my family like to snorkel, now whether they will be doing it here, I don't know, as they have been checking out this area before we head for the cruise. Is there anything that YOU might want to mention/suggest that you were impressed with at Costa Maya or Mahahual that we should see/do, as most of us get around pretty good?

Still looking forward to reading more and seeing pictures as well. Unfortunately for me, a dear friend that was planning to go found out she has leukemia, and is to start treatments. I was really in a bind, but I found a dear friend that I just reconnected with after 20 some years, and she is going, and has NEVER cruised before. 🙂

I just "discovered" your review on the Regal, and the 8 of us are to take it the 25th of February. Since it is after 9:00PM, I am going to try to catch up on the rest of this before long. I try to READ everything on the cruise that I plan to take. 🙂

I just found out about the clip, and I was thinking of ordering the bracelet, but I'm thinking the clip might be better. If any of you have used the clip, can you give me your pros/cons on this?

I'm sorry to read of the BAD ordeal with the luggage, and it "reminded" me 😞 😞 of what my friend and I went through several years go. We DID have our luggage with us when we got off the airplane, but the Taxi's, etc. that pick us up at the airport and take us to the ship, some way or another, they LOST (our luggage in one cab, and we in another one, etc.) all of our luggage other than what we were carrying with us. It did NOT arrive back until 2 days before we got off the ship. To say the least, there were a LOT of tears, buying clothes, etc. I hope the rest of your trip (we are to do the Regal the 25th of February) goes more smoothly. That grilled cheese sandwich sounds right up my alley! 🙂

Crookshanks, I'll be looking forward in reading your information in regard to the photo package. Also the medallion clip even looks (for me) better than the bracelet. If you had the bracelet before, which one would you suggest?

Thanks for your input. At this point, it looks like I will be purchasing the Premier package, and it looks like it comes with "unlimited" minutes, if I decide to use the internet cafe.

I like the different comments about the necklace/bracelet medallion. Although this will be new for me, I had already thought about the bracelet before I read these comments. My question. Is there a difference in price between the necklace and bracelet?

I don't know if I will be wanting to hook up to the computer, but here is my question. I am planning on purchasing the Premier Package, or the most expensive one. I believe that includes the use of the Internet Cafe. Is there a limit on how long you use the computer, or an extra cost once you hook up to it, and if so, how much and for how many minutes?

As some have mention, I always bring extra CASH. Even though I will have the major package and it covers ALL the tips, I always try to tip with CASH for those I generally see quite often who takes care of me.
