Thanks. She (and us) are already booked, are prior to final payment and have only paid minimum deposits. I'll probably see her tomorrow.😎

Thanks. I'm new to a lot of this. Is the social media group the one with 4.7K members? I checked the files tab and only find a .pdf FAQ. Am I in the wrong group?

The CN terms and conditions state the following: "CND(s) are transferable to another guest at no charge. Once transferred, new CND owner is subject to all CND terms and conditions." Norwegian Cruise Line - Promotions Terms and Conditions (ncl.com) I have two of these that I want to transfer to my daughter. I have her Latitudes number, full name, address, etc. Can I just request the transfer with an NCL agent over the phone or is something more formal required?

Reporting back. I cancelled two future bookings with CNs applied on 5/18. They showed up back in my account today (5/20). So, in this case, two days.

NCL Bliss 5/6-5/13 Review. Was it me or was it them?
ChiefMateJRK replied to WestCoastDeb's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Yes, but Alaska has glaciers and whales and bears (oh my!). It also has a historic railway to a high pass with fantastic scenery. And lumberjacks (who were surprisingly fun). Did I mention the glaciers?😎 -
That's what I finally did. I've flown and sailed for decades with middle initial, or nothing, without any issues. All domestic. Since I now have Passport, enhanced drivers license and TSA precheck with my complete name, I worked with NCL and Southwest Airlines to ensure that everything matched. When I need to fly another airline or sail another cruiseline, I'll do the same.

NCL website organization of available excursions
ChiefMateJRK replied to quack2's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Some of us sort by activity level. -
This is one of the main reasons some of us strongly prefer CN vs. CF. The terms as written are more flexible and, as executed, very flexible.

I believe that some have had problems. That said, I only know of my own personal experiences. Two cruises ago, I pre-filled a form to purchase 4 CNs. I handed it to the CN person, told her I knew how it all worked, and she said "thanks." Last cruise, I was expecting the DoubleUp promo to still apply to insides. I was told by NCL on the phone that this promo had ended. I asked the CN rep if that was her understanding. She said yes. I told her I had bought 4 CNs the previous week and in the absence of the promo thought I should be good for now. She agreed and didn't try to sell me anything.

B2B, booked as 1 cruise, Latitudes perks?
ChiefMateJRK replied to Cruisernat's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Add to that 4 bags of laundry. DW and I took full advantage of that during our recent 14 day B2B on the Bliss. I'm getting really good at maxing out the clothes in those bags! 😎 -
New to Sapphire - a few questions
ChiefMateJRK replied to CTCruisers's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I'm also new to Sapphire, so have the same questions. From what I've recently read here, the priority entertainment seating applies to shows that have reservations and allow you to skip the standby line. I haven't tried that yet. I've also read that for some restaurants you will be seated quickly while others have to wait. It may depend on ship, sailing, day of the week, phase of the moon, etc. -
Sweet!! That's the way we try to do it!😎

B2B, booked as 1 cruise, Latitudes perks?
ChiefMateJRK replied to Cruisernat's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Yep. That's the way to do it. I've only actually sailed one B2B, but I have six(?!) booked between now and the end of 2025. I love the Breakaway Plus ships, but seven day cruises are simply not enough. B2B is the fix. 😎 -
B2B, booked as 1 cruise, Latitudes perks?
ChiefMateJRK replied to Cruisernat's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
$250 vs. $200 NCLH shareholder benefit would pale in comparison with the other lost perks. Even if two reservation numbers, you don't have to change cabins. New key cards take literally five minutes on disembarkation day when you have little else going on. I got them at guest services with no waiting. -
B2B, booked as 1 cruise, Latitudes perks?
ChiefMateJRK replied to Cruisernat's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I will certainly agree. That said, I had a Bliss B2B in April. While on the phone with an agent doing something unrelated, she asked me if I wanted her to link the two reservations as a B2B. I said "sure." I'm not sure what the accomplished (if anything), but while on the cruise I a) received a letter in my cabin acknowledging my B2B and telling me all the things I did not have to do (pack, etc.) and also, and perhaps more useful, b) telling me that my onboard account would remain open for both legs. That actually did save me some money on some leg 1 OBC that would not have been spent. 😎 -
What is your favorite thing about a cruise vacation?
ChiefMateJRK replied to nhtravels's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
It would take a lot more than five days for that to get old for me. 😎 -
Yeah, that's a(nother) strange thing. NCL doesn't have a field in your profile UI, but they do within their system. It was a phone agent who asked for my middle name, and it now (correctly) shows up on all invoices, eDocs, check-in screens, etc. Since this thread started, I've learned that Southwest Airlines is the same way. I can input my middle name when making a new reservation, but I can't add it online to my profile. I can however message them and have them add it so it shows up by default for all future activities.
