That's the one I used. Sent an email 2 weeks ago and another last week.no reply nothing. V odd. I suppose I can ask when on board but if we have to share that means we won't eat at all in the MDR and that's a shame. Wish I requested my time dining now

I have to admit the ones that produce those massive plumes of vape are annoying and unnecessary, as the lower vape plume ones do the same thing. Nothing worse than walking into a massive fog like that

I'd much rather stand behind a vaper than a smoker though. There is some evidence to suggest virus like cold and covid carry further in vape and smoke than they so in normal breath, its why during the Hight of covid a lot of bars in Europe banned smoking on the outside tables, you had to walk away from the bar to do it.

As i said, no evidence they are, lots of evidence to say nowhere near as bad as smoking, Zero evidence passive vaping does anything as its mostly water vapour. UK NHS recommends smokers start to vape where possible, also recommends non smokers do not start to vape. I just think comparing it to smoking it totally unhelpful and counter productive to those wishing to stop smoking.

So you prove my point thanks, its less harmful and not the same as smoking. No evidence of passive vape having the same issues as passive smoke too. I know I would much rather sit near a vaper than a smoker but would prefer not to sit by either. Chances are if you have stayed in a hotel then there is a big chance a previous customer vaped in that room. I would imagine it happens a lot. The bottom line is its a new thing and there is still a lack of evidence on the long term. However if a smoker moves to vaping then this must be welcomed. That's why I think putting vape and smoke in the same box is counter productive and I feel for vapers being made to stand next to smokers in a designated area to vape.

There is so far Zero Evidence that vaping is as harmful as smoking. (there is some evidence that vape may cause some harm but nothing to suggest at the moment its like smoke) I don't do either but I look at the facts, if somehow you have some information that vaping is as bad as smoking I suggest you share it in a science journal ASAP as all would be keen to hear it. Vaping is not smoking by the way, Vape produces vape which is mainly water, smoking produces Smoke! I prefer to look at facts to make an informed decision.

I think it is almost impossible to catch someone vaping in their room, the low vape smoke ones don't set off the alarms and there is no lasting smell or evidence that it was done. I've even seen people vaping discreetly in the pub and bars, the small cig like vapes are quite easy to hide. Not that it's right, rules are rules but I do think sometimes Vape should be treated different to smokers, though not given freedom to do what they like, I know others will disagree with me here though.

I will be onboard when my next window for online check in opens, I wont have an internet package but I know the app works for free. Will I be able to do online check in for my next cruise through the app on board? I want to grab an early time as possible to arrive at the port.

That's not much of a saving on my current planner its £64 including tip anyway. Still a saving is a saving I supppose

It was too hot on our med cruise. I did mention it to staff who were aware but said there was nothing they could do. I get the impression there is no AC in there just forced ventilation. So if it's 90 outside it just pumps in that. No cooling. This was the only thing I hated on the ship. The outdoor decks have little shade and I can't sit in the sun for long so we struggled to find somewhere to lounge.

There is (or was) a big sign at PC terminal that said something along the lines of the porters are not in a tipped position but will accept a tip if given....so nobody should ever think that they have to tip to see the luggage on board I'm sure if porters regularly 'forgot' cases because of lack of tips it would be a 'thing' and those porters would be looking for alternative employment.

You could argue if icon is the family fun ship aimed towards the Disney crowd that leaves more ships in PC with less kids? Making it better for everyone. That's if icon does sail from PC permanently
