    No hosts at lunches post covid but the wine has been very generous!

    Yes, my Baltic cruise last July was in the high 20s most days, lovely.

    Glad my next cruise is to the Baltic and not the Med! Have been on one to Greece where temperatures were in the 40s and it was unbearable.

    I do most of my cruises on Arcadia and Aurora and find my balcony cabins on them more spacious (and with much more storage, including drawers!) than on Iona (which I won't be trying again). Had problems with rowdy kids (and some adults!) when I was on her too.

    It often is. I always do that. Can recommend Holiday Inn.

    In your position, if possible I would travel to Southampton the night before and stay in a hotel at the port. Avoids the stress!

    Lucky you. I paid twice that much for the Canada cruise. Bargain!

    Parking at £9 a day not too bad. Plus breakfast and taxi to and from the ship. I have used this package scores of times and found it very good.

    Same with Celebrity. That' why I stopped using them.

    If you are upper tier you get half price laundry. They also sometimes have special offers on laundry too. Otherwise prices are not too bad.

    City centre a fair way from berth. Shuttle needed unless you like a good walk! Lovely city to wander around.

    As poster said, they are cheaper and good value!

    Good reviews from some of you on Elizabeth House. So am using for my Arcadia 24 nighter in September. £268 including parking. Not bad and cheaper than my usual, Holiday Inn. Hope it is ok.

    Also just booked this cruise. Surprised at the price. Cheaper for 24 nights than my previous shorter cruises so far this year. Maybe not popular?

    Are we allowed to recommend insurers? Have found one whose premiums are really good if you have more serious conditions. Don't know if they are bona fide though!

    Have done 2 Aurora and 1 Arcadia this year and found staff, including waiters, had time to interact pleasantly. Less pax I suppose.

    For beaches Bus to Grand Anse, Grenada Taxi to Spice Club, Bonaire Share minibus to Carambola Beach Club, St Kitts ( or day trip to Nevis) Taxi to Boatyard (expensive and crowded) or Harbour Lights (cheaper and quieter) in Barbados More to Caribbean than great beaches though, especially if new to the area. Enjoy your trip.

    Just use the water in your bathroom. Same as everywhere else. Chill in fridge.
