  1. I have been impressed by the care and assistance of staff on recent cruises, even staff with aprons emblazoned with "I am here to help" in the buffet. However, that is on the smaller ships so maybe another thing missing from the big ones.
  2. Yes, some poor singing. Nicole sang well, but then she does have a fine pair, of lungs!
  3. Anyone know if the late night (10.30) syndicate quiz has been reinstated?. Always been a very popular and fun quiz on other ships (over 60 folk attending most nights last month on Aurora) but was relegated to the afternoon on Britannia last Summer.
  4. Was stopped post covid but have seen book swap shelves on other ships this year so probably back on Britannia too.
  5. Lighting, special effects and drone work spectacular, as usual. Loved the blue whale! Not sure about some of the acts. Worst was Lionel - was he drunk?! Well organised and entertaining though.
  6. Love Porto Venere. So easy, just half an hour ferry ride.
  7. Yes, on the left. Mum made the outfits.
  8. They are, only needed on the three big ships.
  9. Enjoyed it. Don't remember much about the last one!
  10. Such negativity! I am sure you will get some positive comments soon. I personally like Ventura very much and have been on her several times over the past year. Don't worry.
  11. I have done 12 cruises post covid and not received a questionnaire for any of them. Maybe because I am a regular customer so obviously satisfied (which on the whole I am)!
  12. Rarely see your steward in the mornings as they tend to be busy inside cabins. More likely to see them doing their other jobs around the ship!
  13. Maybe they are people who have not pre booked and hope to still get in.
  14. Is there no large outdoor pool for families with kids?
  15. Apart from first night, only queues for fixed dining are those who turn up before they open the doors. Probably hungry as they haven't eaten since lunchtime!
  16. I am a solo traveller and the last thing I want on holiday is monitoring by crew! Maybe take a friend/carer with you to do this?
  17. As I said, suites and Caribbean and above are sat in a separate area and then boarded according to tier level and cabin grade. Depends on how early embarkation commences though. Can vary!
  18. Sorry again. It is the lunch which starts at Caribbean. No officers present though!
  19. Just commenting on my experiences on the different ships, that's all.
