  1. Just a picture, they add one outside when the ships are transferred to there. Meyer Werft is the only one that has it so you can imagine how I felt when Jubilee was announced to be built there! The webcam is very cool! 😁
  2. Bookings were opened January 2022. There was a transatlantic plan originally but it had to be canceled due to shipyard delays.
  3. I've been watching the Meyer Werft webcam WebCam | MEYER WERFT
  4. Jubilee is now floating! Still inside at Meyer Werft, will probably stay for awhile.
  5. I was on a Cove balcony on Celebration earlier this year. Mid ship, wasn't really rocking and no salt. We booked one under the candy shop so there wouldn't be any noise but anywhere on deck 5 would be fine because we couldn't hear anything from above decks anywhere on the deck. Also I have hear from people who didn't hear any noise from the atrium show that was happening directly above their cabin.
  6. The problem is which port would you take away from to send a ship to San Juan
  7. What time is it for you? Here on the east coast it is almost 7:30. You are behind us now?
  8. Yes that's another thing. Book it on the first days of the cruise so if it is canceled for wind you have the rest of the cruise to reschedule.
  9. When on board on the app you have to select a 30 minute time slot.
  10. I love the cove balconies too. Had one on Celebration. Like you said in the title @Baptpastor, amazing!
  11. Havensight for sure, was just there on Celebration in February
  12. Just this year or every year from now?
  13. I think a world cruise is possible in the future. They really just need 2124 people interested for a Spirit class. For me, I have thought about if I want to do one but I would never really consider it until Carnival has one. Costa Deliziosa does world cruises each year. But what if the Carnival Corp executives thought that it might sell better under Carnival?
  14. Carnival hasn't been sailing from Ft. Lauderdale because of dredging. I think its their intention to return there one day.
  15. I don't think Carnival needs to run away from the ports Royal Caribbean is in. An ironic thing is that Royal Caribbean made Icon for families with all the things it has, but it is so expensive I can't see how an average family can afford it.
  16. 2024 Europe was released just a month ago so I'd imagine that 2025 would be early March.
  17. For Celebration, we had an arrival of 10:30 to 11:00 but we were allowed into the terminal at 9:45. Boarding started at 10:45 and cabins were ready at 1:30. I don't know if that boarding time you got sent was wrong or if something is different from our cruise.
  18. I think John said once that they were making a new website for it but something was holding it up. Someone should ask again though.
  19. Does anyone have great names for a new build? They could always use former ship names of course. Not sure when the Fantasy class names will be eligible for new ships. Anyway, ideas?
  20. I think it will be a new class. The Carnival Corp CEO said there wouldn't be any newbuilds after these (Jubilee -2023, Seabourn Pursuit -2023 Queen Anne -2024, Sun Princess -2024, Sphere 2 -2025) until at least 2027, and that's stretching it. From there it will have been 4-5 years since Jubilee and 7-8 years since Mardi Gras so I think the next new build would be a new class.
  21. I think its because of bigger airports than Mobile
