  1. John Heald hinted that the Statue of David will return and will be placed on Carnival Firenze when it is transferred to Carnival next year Iconic Statue Returning to a New Carnival Cruise Ship (cruisehive.com)
  2. Well now Panorama is anchored near Victoria. Does anyone have any updates?
  3. Not all the crew members on the stage are holding the flag of the country they are from
  4. What would be the difference of a Long Beach to Seattle cruise or a Seattle to Hawaii, compared to a Tampa to Baltimore which Pride is scheduled to do next year?
  5. For what its worth, there's a gap in Magic's cruises in October to November 2025, mostly likely for a dry dock
  6. Does anyone know how far out you book it? Like can you book it on a Horizon 2026 cruise?
  7. Beside the propulsion issues, yes a great ship It's been the whole Vista class having propulsion issues. In 2019 Vista needed that floating dry dock (After a crane fell on Oasis OTS) and in late 2021, Horizon needed an emergency dry dock causing Liberty and Sunshine to have to rush back in to service in it's place. Norwegian won a lawsuit against an azipod company for faulty azipods. (Not a great explanation of the situation) I sometimes wonder if there is a similar thing with the Vista class ships
  8. I'd imagine Jubilee would stop somewhere in between Germany and Galveston. That could be somewhere like Southampton, Miami, or both It would be cool if they did an Excel class meetup like what the Oasis class ships once did
  9. Costa is owned by Carnival Corporation, which also owns Carnival Cruise Line. Costa didn't sell these, rather Carnival Corp transferred them from one cruise line to another.
  10. Breeze has a few secret decks on 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11. Also deck 5 on Breeze is a full promenade! And yes, just proceed forward through the stateroom hallway and there will be a door at the end. Enjoy your cruise!
  11. Luckily the short Bahamas cruises are starting to have Celebration Key in 2025, with the 3 day weekend Nassau turning into 3 day just Celebration Key!
  12. Last year the ships were decorated from November 25 to December 5 (which was a Monday). For what its worth Radiance was the first to be decorated. Anything could happen but it will most likely be decorated by your cruise on Dec 4
  13. From Meyer Werft: "MEYER WERFT's newest cruise ship, the Carnival Jubilee, is scheduled to leave Papenburg on Monday 30 October 2023 and will be transferred to Eemshaven (Netherlands) on the river Ems. Arrival in Eemshaven is scheduled for early Tuesday morning, 301 October. After the technical and nautical trials, the Carnival Jubilee will set course for Eemshaven again. The Carnival Jubilee is the first cruise ship built in Germany for Carnival Cruise Line. Within the MEYER Group, it is also the third ship of the Excel class: the Finnish shipyard MEYER TURKU already delivered the Mardi Gras in 2020, followed by the Carnival Celebration in 2022. All three ships are equipped with low-emission LNG. The highlight for passengers is a roller coaster on board for the first time. The following schedule applies to the Ems conveyance, which may be postponed at short notice according to weather and tidal conditions: Monday, October 30, 2023 from approx. 09:30am Ship in waiting position (Papenburg) approx. 12:00pm Passing the dock lock (Papenburg) approx. 4:35pm Passing the Friesenbrücke (Weener) approx. 7:45pm Passing the Jann-Berghaus-Bridge (Leer) approx. 11.15pm Arrival at the Ems barrage (Gandersum) Tuesday, October 31, 2023 approx. 01:30am Passing Emssperrwerk approx. 03:15am Passing Emden All information is subject to wind and weather conditions, water levels and therefore without guarantee. Time shifts are also possible at short notice! Carnival Jubilee will sail the Ems towards the North Sea again backwards and with the support of two tugs. This way of transfer has proven to be successful due to the better maneuverability. The transfer of the ship will again be carried out by the team of the pilot brotherhood Emden. The Ems pilots have been performing the maneuvers for many years. The team uses state-of-the-art technology to prepare for a realistic simulation of the Ems river passage in Wageningen (Netherlands). The passage of Carnival Jubilee down the Ems will take place with the support of the Ems barrage. The duration of the passage will always be kept as short as possible so as not to interfere with navigation on the Ems. For more information on the function and operation of the barrage, visit www.nlwkn.niedersachsen.de Further information and photos are available at www.facebook.com/meyerwerft, www.youtube.com/meyerwerft and https://meyerwerft.blogspot.de/."
  14. In Baltimore we also have the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, which is 186 feet. Doesn't matter for this since the FSK Bridge has the same clearance, but just a FYI for those who didn't know
  15. I added up one of Miracle's new Europe cruises (just for fun, its way too expensive for it to ever happen) and when I got to the end it said all guests must be 12 or older. Does anyone know anything about this?
  16. The Cove Balconies are a good option. They are on deck 5. (which is really deck 2) I had one on Celebration and really enjoyed it!
  17. Thanks for posting, I've been looking forward to seeing a picture of this! Glad Freedom can finally get her funnel back!
  18. I considered adding the Destiny class but ended up not doing it
  19. Here are some possibilities: Costa Magica - 1358 cabins Majesty of the Seas - 1777 cabins Oceana - 1008 cabins Majesty seems to fit the best
  20. The first cruises to have it again was on March 6th. My cruise was the week before 😒
