Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Totally agree. I was on the 1/21 cruise and words don’t do justice to how beautiful and humbling it was to sail around paradise bay. The passengers lost out on the best part of the cruise.
  2. If you find the “book of face” group for the Norwegian Star South America and Antarctica group, go to the files link. The dailies are posted there.
  3. Anyone have any good recommendations? We are flying in a day early and hoping to enjoy some good food. Preferably a location that accepts credit cards.
  4. I reserved a free 2 hour walking tour with GuruWalk. You are just supposed to tip at the end. I figure if it isn’t good we will just walk around on our own (which was our original plan).
  5. At a minimum, keeping haven fridges stocked with waters and sodas should be easily doable with minimal cost incurred.
  6. If they leave dad in the haven and the other guest gets the extra room in only their name, it could be done theoretically. Dad would just go there to sleep.
  7. Sounds like people would still just be better off arranging their own flights on their own instead of arranging their own flights via NCL.
  8. Would love to see some of the dailies if you get a chance to post them. Enjoy your cruise!
  9. Do a lot of people buy the stock, get the credit and then resell it? And then rinse and repeat for each cruise?
  10. If you buy a cruise first certificate when it’s $500 for $250, that is basically the same as cruise next, correct? Or is there an additional benefit to cruise next?
  11. Other posters are likely correct in that it has something to do with what country you are in and the laws there. However, in some situations at work I have some leeway in how things are handled. If I have a customer bring a complaint to me and they are patient, willing to work with me, heck even just say “please”, I’m probably a lot more likely to go above and beyond. If they are rude and condescending I will still do my job but won’t make the effort to go above and beyond. The way you’re threatening to play silly games with the crews tips make it seem like you’d fall into the latter category.
  12. is this really that different from what NCL lists as their dress code?
  13. Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for!
  14. I have a question about this - Special dining room for breakfast and lunch (in Moderno and Cagney's) Can anyone share what the lunch menus / options were like for these restaurants?
