  1. Only category C1 and C2 cabana mini suites have access to the Cabana deck on deck 9.
  2. JJCruise spreading misinformation about the Reserve Cabana Mini’s. He claims ALL cabana mini’s have access to the cabana deck. No wonder people are confused when YouTubers are getting it wrong. Just to clarify, only C1 and C2 RC cabana mini suites on DECK 9 have access to the cabana deck. A simple check of the deck plan confirms this - if only JJCruise did their homework!
  3. We are sailing in the Caribbean Feb 8 2025. I like the way you think with the β€œL” shaped couches still coming! One can hope! I purchased a couple blow up ottomans to bring with for use in the cabana. We will be opening up the dividers between our 3 balconies so I can see us using that room as a hang out area. We are in the middle, flanked by long time friends on one side and family on the other, so pretty sure ours will be the party cabin!
  4. Thanks to another CC member, I found you can check the box on the deck plans. It will then show only the connecting cabins,
  5. Realized ours does too but we have family on one side of us and friends I. The other so it’ll be fine. I’m learning more and more from CC to check these things before booking!
  6. We will be staying in a cabana mini on deck 10 - so very happy to hear it will have reclining chairs. Not happy to hear it’s kinda cramped though and really wishing we had gone for the standard mini. Sad that they duped us with the nice looking couch in the cabana but our fault for booking the shiny object. We have 2 others cruising with us and booked 3 cabins in a row or we would switch to a regular mini as those look really nice. We are also above The Eatery and I’m worried about the noise levels. We’ll be in cabins 5008, 5010, and 5012. I’m sure we’ll have a great time no matter what, after all we’ll be on a cruise!!!
  7. Can't thank you enough for this thread! You have provided more concise and accurate information than any influencer or travel industry Youtuber that I've seen, and I've watched them all! Perhaps Princess should hire you to do "Lives From" as a living - wouldn't that be a great retirement job?!! Hope you enjoy your last night and have a safe trip home ❀️
  8. I agree, but I couldn't find where it said the Enclave was included. The Signature Suites include the Sanctuary, but no mention of Enclave that I could find but maybe I'm looking in the same place you are.
  9. As far as I understand, only "Thermal" suites are included with suites on the older class ships. The "Enclave" on newer ships are not included as a suite benefit.
  10. When you hover over the cabin on the deck plans on Princess.com it says, " (Wheelchair-accessible) This balcony stateroom provides outstanding views from a deluxe private balcony, and bathroom with shower. Includes sofa bed."
  11. Yikes, hope they get that figured out before we sail on her in the Caribbean! I feel bad for the bartenders, they work so hard.
  12. This is amazing!! My husband is a pressman and has been working with Heidelberg presses for nearly 40 years!
  13. If you can get time in the Sanctuary - do! You'll have to run up there as soon as you embark to try to reserve loungers or a cabana. That was our favorite part of our cruise on the Caribbean last summer. Also know that the pool by the Sanctuary (Lotus Pool) is not part of the Sanctuary and can be used by anyone without an additional fee. It is an adult only spot with padded loungers on either side. There are not a lot of loungers, so head up there between 6-6:30 am if you want to get one on a sea day. We did this and ordered breakfast through the medallion app which was brought right to us while we waited for the pool to open. There are hot tubs there too and you can use the facilities in the spa locker room (bathroom, sauna). Enjoy your cruise - she's a beautiful ship!
  14. It should not be charging you when you book. Try logging into your app with your booking number instead of your user name and password, it seems to work better this way. The App will "charge" you for the dinners, but then show a credit and zero due to when you check out. Hope this helps! Our 1st cruise was on the Caribbean last summer and we absolutely LOVED the Crown Grill and Sabattini's - she's an older ship but still quite beautiful and relaxing!
  15. There have been a lot of complaints about the noise in the piazza at night by those in nearby cabins. This seems like a fun way to alleviate that issue.
  16. Not that Princess asked my opinion, but here it is anyway. Make the Sanctuary a suite only adult area and build it out to actually be a sanctuary with all padded loungers, proper shade/privacy, and greenery. Remove excess loungers to provide separation between sets of loungers as they do on Grand and Royal class ships. I think there will be enough loungers to not have to worry about reserving specific ones. Allow suite guests to book the cabanas prior to embarkation and after final payment if they are not yet sold out, open it up to non-suite passengers to book, also prior to embarkation. Make the dome/Sea View area adult only during the day but of course allow children for the nightly shows. Now the kicker, also make the Wake View area adult only. The kids have the Lido deck pools and hot tubs, kid clubs, and Park 19 all at their disposal. This will allow us older passengers (such as myself) to still have the Princess upscale experience while catering to multi-generational families as well. Just my humble opinion.....if this doesn't work, then beef up the amenities for kids on the sphere class ships so us old farts can cruise in peace on the older ships.
  17. Trying to look on the positive side of things, as a non-suite guest booked on the Sun next year, Princess just saved me the anxiety of running up to the Sanctuary on embarkation day and spending money on a cabana and loungers πŸ™‚
  18. I live in a touristy area that has great resorts with wonderful spas (Lake Geneva, WI). Our favorite local spa charges $130 (plus tip) for a 50 minute relaxation massage. We always book couples massages, so that would be $307 for the 2 of us if you factor in an 18% tip like Princess does (we usually tip 20%). On our last cruise on the Caribbean (July 2023) we paid $209 for a couples massage on embarkation day, and on our next cruise on the Sun (Feb 2025), we already booked a couples massage for $223 for an 8:00 am appointment on one of the port days. So for us, it's a discount!
  19. We planned to tip $10 to each therapist after our couples massage on top of the 18% auto gratuity, but after they started pushing products, we didn't since we made it clear upfront that we wouldn't be interested.
  20. If you look at the deck plans, there are doors on either side of the cabana decks between the C1 C2 cabana state rooms - you will enter through those doorways with your medallion. According to the Live From thread previously mentioned, you will have access to either side of the Reserve cabana decks (Port and Starboard).
  21. We were in a suite on the Caribbean last July. The priority boarding allowed us to get to reserve time in the Sanctuary. We enjoyed our complimentary 1st night specialty dinner at Sabatini's (which was awesome), as well as the suite breakfasts also at Sabatini's. Priority tender to Princess Cays - we were on the 1st tender over which allowed us to find loungers under a tree, in front of the bathrooms, and by a bar. Reserve dining was the bomb! Never had to wait and the staff was amazing. Chocolate covered strawberries, canapes, champagne, and the mini bar were nice touches. We got invited to the Captain's cocktail party. On our sailing, the elite lounge drinks and appetizers were hosted in Skywalker's Lounge. Priority disembarkation was nice too. We loved our suite experience on the Caribbean! ETA - you also get complimentary access to the Thermal Suite.
  22. Thank you for sharing! If you get a chance, please advise if there are any adult only pools onboard. Thank you πŸ™‚
  23. I would cancel and rebook. You'll get a refund to you credit card and wont' be charged when you make the new reservation.
  24. The proper way to cut pizza! Yes I'm originally from Chicago πŸ˜„
