  1. OK, just added Royal app to old 5yr old android phone via my home wifi. Now I have Royal app on current phone and 2 old phones I use as mini tablets around house with wifi.
  2. Yes, my Amazon fire tablet has Google Play store via hack as well. Not hard to do at all.
  3. I use my old phone like a tablet off my wifi. I use my new phone off my wifi when home. Don't know about downloading the app, as it's already on both phones. But if I needed old phone "active" to do it, I would just move card back for the download.
  4. OK, so since basic coffee, tea, lemonade, etc are included and you most likely will drink soda or water with meals. I say consider just the soda package usually about $8.99 per day. Instead of the beverage package at $22 to $29 per day. (Price varies). I understand the frustration. Drinks can cost a lot extra. And we aren't even talking alcoholic. I can't help with dinning package as it's too much of an unnecessary upcharge for me.
  5. You could go down another step and save with the soda package. The beverage package includes coffee and tea which are available for free with meals anyway. My answer would most depend on what you would normally order to drink with meals?
  6. Oh, I strongly disagree. What I said was not just about specific questions info. To get the visual to go with a discussion and the information can only help paint a much fuller picture. They also can be very entertaining and give you so much more background on what you are about to do. Especially for first time travelers. As a matter of fact visuals are almost a necessity for first timers. After reading post on multiple sites, I truly believed for this particular poster it was a very valid suggestion.
  7. Oh, I know all about that. I have pills for everything. But I say it's one week out of the year. Treat yourself a bit.
  8. I can't go with that logic. Some of the biggest crooks are those with the most money to spend. 😁
  9. I disagree. Royals IT department would be better run by a comple of 16yr Olds. It's an endless s#$/ show of problems.
  10. On the other site you can download old cruise compasses. Aside from YouTube videos, you may find old compasses/daily planners to look at also helpful. Also, it's beyond clear seafood is very important to you, but don't forget to checkout all the other things a ship that size has to offer. I really feel you will benefit from the videos. There's a lot of info to take in, I know. Never hurts to asks questions.
  11. I've seen some of your questions on other sites. I really think checking out some YouTube videos about Wonder of the seas and possibly Royal Caribbean drinks and dinning packages will help a great deal. The Royal Caribbean blog site videos would especially be of help to many of your questions. And all are not only informative, but enjoyable. Especially to first time cruisers.
  12. I've read repeatedly this depends on departure port and supply availability.
  13. It's clear it's a Royal screw up. They have been ridiculously good at that lately. First hint something was wrong was the deposit and Final Payment being same day. I have learned to question everything with them, twice.
  14. Ok, does anyone else really want a burger now? Lol. 🍔
  15. I don't get it. If the pools aren't even open and nobody is sitting in the seat before 8am why don't they just remove all of them. It's not like they can accidentally miss someone who is there swimming or anything? Better yet, make everyone return towels each night. Then not give out new one's till 9am.
  16. OK, so what I've picked up on since last night is the signs about 30 minutes or your stuff will be removed is just signs. And asking or expecting staff to make a sweep of empty chairs periodically isn't really a thing to wait for. This is based on the replies since about 8pm last night. Kinda stinks after all the fuss yesterday. I was starting to think I didn't have to "stake my claim at 7am" cause the staff would be removing all the 6am no shows by 9am anyway. Lol. Before I say this next part I have to say save your breath. It now looks like a "if you can't beat em, join em" situation. I was good with staff say wait till top of the hour and we will make a sweep of the place or something. But if they don't follow through with the sign/rule, then..... I'm good with being far from pool when outside. (Noise) But if in solarium, I would like my seat to be in solarium. Lol. The plan (up until yesterday) was up at 6am. Breakfast 7am. Grab chair by 730am worn out or not. Looks like I'm back to that. But that's cool. I didn't spend money to sleep. Just a shame that they don't actually enforce the rule.
  17. What anyone does with there life and body is not my business. Free country baby.
  18. It's wild how many people think it's smaller when it's technically bigger. Maybe those folks didn't walk all the way around the back and down the sides?
  19. So I also read people saying that staff goes around removing towels from empty chairs at random. Do they do it like hourly to help free up seats that aren't being used? Are you a jerk if you ask them to get involved? I don't want to anyone on the spot but after today's posts I thought having staff remove for you was a thing. Now kinda sounds like you do it all on your own. I have no problem with being accused of moving stuff. It's accused of stealing stuff when picking it up and in my hands that concerns me.
  20. Ok, so nobody goes and puts some staff member on the spot to be the one to move stuff then? Except for the guy who slips them $10 I guess.
  21. So a review just went up "Changes on Wonder compared to other ships" quote: Also, a number of lounge chairs in the Solarium and Main Pool Area have padded seats, which are big improvements over the standard deck loungers. But you have to be an early riser to snag one of them. My question is why didn't they ask to have towels removed? Just to clarify. Can you go up to a pool towel attendant or any member of staff and ask to have empty chairs with towels removed? Or are some staff to afraid to get involved?
  22. Yes. That's the way it works at any pool or any beach on planet earth and you it.
  23. I get it. You don't want to end up being as bad as the people who ain't even around by doing something potentially rotten to someone who may just be taking a swim. There ain't nothing wrong with trying to keep the high road and stay someplace in the middle. Way too many folks here turn every aspect of everything and everyday on a cruise into a blood sport. Please, please don't let anyone here mess up your plan's. Keep looking at the positives in what's to come. And everyone give it rest.
