  1. Excellent. Thank you for your help. I don't know if it was here or not, but I got a phone number to call in advance of the cruise where I could upgrade my WiFi.
  2. Thank you, Jeremiah. That helps. I take it that I can call that number prior to the cruise to upgrade? Since I have no OBC, I have no issues paying them in advance with a credit card
  3. We booked an Aqua Class cabin for an upcoming Summit sailing That class comes with the inclusion of a basic WiFi package Looking at our online cruise planner, we are being offered Premium Wi-Fi at $29.99 per day (an offer for basic Wi-Fi is offered at $16.99 per day) * Since basic WiFi is already included in our cabin price, do we simply pay the difference in price (estimating $13 per day)? Is that how it works? * If I sign up for the Premium WiFi today online, will it automatically adjust the price for the difference? * Finally, anything I sign up for today, do I pay immediately or is it added to my cruise invoice that I pay at the end of the sailing?
  4. This is great news. So happy I don't have to deal with MDR dining.
  5. We are sailing on the Summit next year in Aqua Class and will be dining at Blu. Based on the responses here, I am anticipating we can order off the MD menu in Blu as well? As someone who doesn't want to stick to just a healthier menu, it would be great to just stick to Blu every night instead of having to go to the Main Dining Room.
  6. Thanks, RichYak! I'm sorry. I didn't originally pick up that the notch is no longer there so 9133 is definitely out. I am going to book the cruise today so the two cabins to consider is either 9125 or 9149. I'll probably go with your recommendation of 9125. Thanks for all your help. It was important for me to know where I could get a quieter cabin with a little less overhang.
  7. RichYak, Wow. So much appreciate you clarifying that. Okay, so the circled area you indicated is where 9133 would be. Looks like a seating area above? Any idea what is above 9125? Wondering which room, both with a notch, would be the quieter location.
  8. Thank you so much. I spent hours researching the perfect room on a VERY difficult deck where noise from above is almost guaranteed -and- where all of the quieter Solarium area cabins were taken. QUESTION FOR YOU SINCE YOU KNOW THE SHIP: See Rich's response below. I circled the wrong location for the room. Am I better off in 9125 or 9133? Which one is below the bakery? Thanks for the clarification on that. It was difficult to pinpoint exactly where the cabin would be. THANK YOU BOTH. You made feel so much better about my decision
  9. Planning a cruise on the Summit next year. Sailing Aqua Class so all available rooms are located on deck 9 With the ship filling up rather fast, all the aft and forward balcony cabins are taken. All that is left are a nice handful of midship to midship-aft. I spent hours researching room reviews and looking at the M-Class Cabin spreadsheet that is posted on this forum as a sticky thread. I *THINK* I found the perfect room and just want to get a second opinion ROOM: 9133 (see borrowed CC member photo below) 2013 Review before refurb The great thing about this room, it seems, is that it has a shorter overhang as it falls under a dip That increases the sky view from the balcony The location of the room is not directly under the Oceanview Cafe. However, I don't know exactly WHAT it sits under. It seems that reviews are saying the room is quiet. Would you recommend this location/cabin? Rooms that are also available right now are 9101-9065 (port) and 9094-9054 (starboard) Thanks to anyone that takes a moment to look at this and comment. Just want to make certain I make the best room choice possible based on the amount of money I am spending.
  10. Thank you for that When is online check-in done (how many days/weeks) prior to cruise and if you want to be in the first group to board (or later), is it first-come first-serve or are all times readily available? Appreciate the responses
  11. How do you/they select boarding time? Is it based on first-come/first-serve after booking? What is the procedure to select first boarding/later boarding in Concierge+ classes?
  12. This article on Celebrity's own site talks about priority disembarking with Concierge Class and I can imagine it's the same in Aqua as well https://www.celebritycruises.com/blog/concierge-class-embarkation-lunch My question is whether these classes also offer priority Embarkation --- especially on the initial day of boarding?
  13. I thought Concierge Class and above have priority embarking/disembarking. Maybe I have it wrong but I thought that was one of the perks that comes from those classes on up to suites.
  14. As someone who is looking to do the same on a cruise next year may I ask some questions? 1. You basically only paid the difference in price between the included basic WiFi and the Premium. Correct? How much per day was that? 2. Only one device can be upgraded or is it an upgrade for the entire cabin (2 devices)? Thanks so much!
  15. Where do you pay the $40? We are tentatively looking at the Summit in June
  16. Just wondering if the sauna(s) in the Celebrity spas are separated into men/women or are they unisex? My girlfriend and I wanted to use the sauna together if that was at all possible. Thanks
  17. These are the difference in prices for Concierge vs. Aqua on a Summit June sailing The Concierge has ALL INCLUDED added to the price where the Aqua Class is all inclusive. At a difference of a little over $200 it looks like what I am paying for is basically the opportunity to eat at Blu every night, use the spa and perhaps some upgraded amenities in the room. Still, I am not against spending the extra $200 to move into Aqua class. And mind you, that's $200 for 2 people which doesn't sound bad. Hope I figured this out correctly.
  18. That's great to know. Seems like that will help alleviate any long lines between those that have early dining reservations and those that have anytime as their choice. Feeling a little better about going with anytime dining.
  19. Oh... Another question came to mind... Can I upgrade to Premium WiFi before I board the ship? Having never sailed on Celebrity before, do they allow you to do all the upgrades you want from their website prior to your sailing date? It seems it would be much more convenient than standing on line to change it at guest services.
  20. Hey all! Still looking at booking the Summit for June or July next year. Already, on all the sailings we looked at, early dining is sold out. So, okay, I can pick ANYTIME dining. Problem solved, yes? Well, actually is it? Will I experience long lines for dinner if I arrive when the restaurant opens given the early dining spots are spoken for? Are reserved early dining passengers given priority over anytime dining? Or, are they located in separate areas of the dining room?
  21. Can I get further clarification on this? So, only Basic WiFi is included with an Aqua Class cabin? And there's an Aqua Class Suite? I did not see those in the selections. In Aqua Class there are standard (Deck 9) and premium rooms (Deck 11). Nothing in the description for the premium rooms indicate an upgrade in WiFi.
  22. Yeah, I'm an old seasoned Princess cruiser. Would have preferred to sail with that ship given my elite status but living in NJ, I didn't want to do the New England cruise (which is all they do from here) and I didn't want to spend extra to fly down to Fort Lauderdale.
  23. You can't ask for anything better. That's tremendous!
