You'll get notice onboard of the day/time as @nwcruiselover @Knights on the Beach said. It's done very respectfully as is the package you receive w/the certificate. One note is sea conditions can impact the plans, so flexibility is important.

When I was on Nieuw Amsterdam Feb 2023 it was open embarkation day. It's my 2nd stop after boarding (1st is dropping bags in cabin) to get Thermalpass sticker. They will be able to tell you the hours when you stop in. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!

But only for Neptune Suite passengers; all others will need to go to Explorations or Pinnacle Bar.

You're singing the happy song 🎵 🎶 to me. We write a note on their notes and include with a tip in the final bag we send. Nobody does laundry better than HAL.

We do that, too. Our last bag, we put back in the notes they've given us with a note of thanks written on them and tip attached. You know, Jim, how I like to write - I like to think they enjoy and appreciate it.

We boarded, I believe Oct 2022, w/o long wait. We arrived later as @RuthC suggested and had no congestion. We did not require assistance. I do not remember if there was another ship w/us that day. Instead of boarding early & eating lunch in MDR, we enjoyed Boston and boarded late - one of the few ports we do that. Safe travels - enjoy your cruise!

Not inflatables. They're hard, sit on your shoulders. Very heavy, the tour Ops put them on you. Once you're in water they no longer feel heavy.

I L❤️VE helmet diving!! Thanks for sharing these pics. My sister won't snorkel because she doesn't want to be w/o her glasses - this is a great alternative. I'm surprised more places don't offer it. You have me wanting to book another cruise so I can put on a helmet!!

I like Green beans so the meal sounds good but is more of a side dish, would try the drink and wine, not been to the port. Some key days in history. Lot of work today as I didn't get finished yesterday, also need to swap out the TV box so DH can watch tomorrow's game inside (if it rains tomorrow so he won't be able watch it from the back porch). We're going to a little neighborhood Teppanyaki place tonight - never been and hoping it's good. Currently rainy 57° headed to rainy 59°. Weather warning for lightning, rain and hail - good day to stay inside. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.
