  1. Oh no @Nickelpenny - an invasion is a violation and can be scary. I hope the light and lock prevent future "visits." They either moved quickly or were there a while to empty the container rather than just take it. Hapy to hear your "test drive " was a success and hope the walk goes well.
  2. 3 good days now that I know what May Ray is. Pass on the meal (salmon), the drink sounds refreshing, DH would like the wine, not been to the port. The day in history was a big one for the future USA. @1ANGELCAT prayers ๐Ÿ™ for your friend Shirl and her son; that is a difficult time for both of them. @Cruzin Terri I hope you feel better soon. @Heartgrove happy to hear Sam๐Ÿ• is still doing well. Congrats @Mr. Boston to Nick on his graduation ๐ŸŽ“ my DD DB the younger did his undergrad at Notre Dame. @Sharon in AZ your multi-generation ๐Ÿ• celebration sounds lovely. Thanks @RMLincoln for the ๐Ÿ’ update.๐Ÿ˜Š Today is a trip to pick up mulch then getting flowers in the ground. Currently 73ยฐ headed to sunny 91ยฐ w/another ozone action day; I already can't breathe and my eyes itch soooo bad. Prayers ๐Ÿ™ and positive thoughts for all.
  3. Thanks Maureen @RMLincoln; I alternate between telling myself I'm being a baby and saying there's no such thing as being overly cautious with eyes. I think your DH is amazingly brave and I pray ๐Ÿ™for the best outcome & successs for you both.
  4. My understanding is they're handmade in Netherlands. Some of my older ones have a small mark on the bottom. You can order and have shipped as @Gail & Marty sailing away said or you can buy onboard. They make wonderful gifts. HAL has the best florists.
  5. Yay - Mavericks๐Ÿ€ won so they're on their way to the next round!! it was a 2 berry game as they won by only one 1 point. The other berry was just a tasty memory when I thought to take a picture. This was the smaller one, but just as tasty.
  6. Fabulous!! ๐Ÿ‘ I'm sure that wine will be the tastiest ever. Looks so calming.
  7. Congrats @dfish on finishing the furniture assembly and deck staining. You deserve more than this ๐Ÿ† and ๐Ÿ…!
  8. Congrats on both the butterfly ๐Ÿฆ‹ and avoiding the fire ants ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿœ
  9. Thanks - I'll try it on my computer, I was using my phone.
  10. Thanks for this info on the poppy - it is stunning! I quite enjoy your backyard pictures - looks so peaceful and calming.
  11. That poppy is beautiful!! I have poppy pictures in my half bath. And apparently a spider web, so I guess it's past time to dust ๐Ÿซฃ
  12. Once again, an interesting collection of days - I'll celebrate Reese's any day (there's a large chunky Reese's cup in the fridge waiting to be found by DH). Nephew worked hard on HIV prevention education while in the Peace Corp. Museums are fabulous - so much to look at and learn in them. I visited a wonderful museum in Europe that was located inside a church - it was like a "twofer" - museum and beautiful church at same time! Pass on the meal (wish I liked asparagus) and drink (although I do have some Blue Curacao), would love to try the wine (I was in So Africa in 2017 while fires were burning through many vineyards including Stellenbosch so it's good to see a wine from that area), not been to the port (thanks @StLouisCruisers for the great pictures). Best of luck @dfish w/the furniture assembly; I know you'll win and treat us to a pic of a lovely fire table etc al. I tried to book the Aug cruise last night @dfish but kept getting errors at the cabin selection phase, so I will have to call in; maybe it's sold out? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿคž@kazu the on the foot test results and you get a call soon ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿคžthe Mavericks๐Ÿ€ have a good night tonight to close out the series and move on to the next round. Good luck to all who may be cheering for a favorite in today's Preakness๐Ÿ‡ DH asked me to order mulch so he can work in the beds & plant the flowers we brought back from his mom's house - all stores I checked were either pick up only or have very high delivery fees ($35 - $69 for 10 bags), so it looks like we have a trip to make. Currently 70ยฐ headed to sunny 91ยฐ; today will likely be hard to breathe as we have an air quality alert / ozone action day. Strange that mowing is not mentioned on the alert; it usually is as gas powered mowers contribute greatly to poor air quality. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ Prayers ๐Ÿ™ and positive thoughts for all. When reading about our alert, I found these pictures of the floods outside of Houston. As mentioned, Houston is very low w/poor drainage so it floods easily and frequently. Prayers ๐Ÿ™ for those impacted. During the floods a couple years ago, one of my workers who lives in that area took his boat out and rescued many people. A member of our recruiting team was rescued by boat during this flood; they're still in a hotel and have not been allowed back in yet to assess damage. ๐Ÿ˜ช
  13. Woo Hoo - Stars ๐ŸŒŸ ๐Ÿ’won in double OT in Denver!! So they're headed to Western Conf finals. Congrats and good luck in the next round. Mavericks ๐Ÿ€were off tonight so ๐Ÿคžthey're successful tomorrow night. Post season play is stressful - I ate double serving of strawberries, lol
  14. Thanks for the info; I like reading that as a professional you've seen successful use of them. The Dr did say there are temporary & more permanent ones so I think she'd do either if I tell her I want to move forward. She also said she could "pop them in and out like a wine cork" if I wanted them removed. I think I like the idea of trying the temp ones before going all in on the perm ones. But I cringe at the thought of anything in my eyes, so it's all causing me anxiety. I'm sure I'm just being a baby.
  15. Thanks but ugh. From close contacts & family, I would welcome even a thank you text. ๐Ÿ˜’
  16. I love that you reach out to your grads! I do think a lack of acknowledgement is a sign of the times - 30yo niece didn't send thank yous for 3 showers (wedding & 2 baby) and seemed genuinely confused by my disappointment. Same for a couple life-long friends and bonus daughter in the same age bracket - no acknowledgement of wedding & baby shower gifts. SMH
  17. Nice collection of days - congrats to all graduates ๐ŸŽ“ So many books, so little time. Books are the best! The "meal" sounds lovely and @dfish pictures look yummy. Would try the drink ๐Ÿธ if someone else made it & left out the marshmallow, DH would like the wine, not been to the port. 1527-1536 was an important but difficult time for Spain ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ 596 lives lost is a high price. Saw a few small trees down in the subdivision, but we did not have any damage from the storms; thanks @Quartzsite Cruiser for thinking of us. Does anyone have experience with Puntal eye plugs? Eye Dr asked yesterday if I would consider getting them. I had not heard of them and preliminary research hasn't provided enough for me to make a decision. The plugs would be in addition to the 4-step procedure she is doing. TIA for any info. Prayers @ger_77 that DH cold is short lived. It was 72ยฐ headed to sunny 84ยฐ when I checked a bit ago. Forecast shows sun through Mon so the backyard should dry out. Prayers ๐Ÿ™ and positive thoughts for all.
  18. Once again, great pictures. Looks like you really had nice weather - such blue skies. As soon as I saw your pink pictures, I instantly thought of Amazing Race.
