  1. We'll be on Sky next June. Thanks very much for your impressions!
  2. Here are your HEIC files converted to Jpg. They won't be visible on Cruise Critic without downloading them and converting them. Cheers!
  3. I love it when someone posts something in the Princess forum and as soon as you read the title immediately realize they should not be posting in the Princess forum. This ball of grievences might be better spent in a different cruise line where everyone there will agree. And care.
  4. Riviera. Probably a good idea to familiarize yourself with the ship configuration, and download at least the relevant deck plans to a PDF or JPEG folder somewhere. https://www.princess.com/deckPlans.do?shipCode=EP
  5. No worse than not even being able to remember why it was named after her.
  6. Sounds like she gave you the answer, but you just didn't like it so you're proceeding as though you don't have an answer yet, yes?
  7. "Coke Classic" Yeah. Yeah, it matters.
  8. I never liked "patter". It always made it sound like the passageways would be filled with barefoot babies running up and down.
  9. One thing I learned on my own is that the security photo and info you put in for a fellow traveler in your group is not the same as what you put in for their passenger profile. You can have two different photos for everyone. But until both forms are filled out you aren’t done.
  10. The reason to contact princess is so they can decide for themselves whether they want to contact trace other passengers. Seukel may have some sort of theory as to why it’s not a good reason to inform Princess. But most people would think it’s a kind thing you could do with a 3 second email. That sucks that you got sick. But your attitude about it is inspiring.
  11. I’ve been double dipping the beverage counter in the buffet for years thinking I’m all on to something secret and delicious everytime I got a glass of iced tea and then sweetened it with the lemonade. Then someone explained that’s just an Alrnold Palmer. I’m not a golfer so I……I didn’t know.
  12. I’m shocked that so many people who hate Princess so much and revel in their bad reviews, hang out in the Princess forum with such stalker-ish dedication. It’s kina kreepy.
  13. Ask any chef on any ship what day final decisions are made on any particular day’s menu. Give him your theory about “weeks in advance”. Then watch his eyes carefully.
  14. It’s a bit like asking if a ship will serve Figgy Pudding for the xmas cruise holiday. I mean you may ask that they bring you a figgy pudding. But no one but the chef can really know what the menu will be until the sun rises on that day.
  15. Uch, god. Like having to sit through the clothes pin toss at a baby shower. I’ll be in my room.
  16. The young people would a tennis shoe as long as it had ketchup on it. Make a point.
  17. Oh you'd love TCM. You could go 24 hours without seeing a pixel of color film.
  18. Now if you'd said "Caligula: The Director's Cut" I might have batted an eye. The general release version of Caligula is like watching a PBS documentary. Midnight Cowboy doesn't have anything that a movie on HBO doesn't have that you leave running on your home TV 24/7. If you block your kids from entering the livingroom because someone's butt is showing, then I'd say yeah. I agree. You shouldn't bring your kids on a cruise.
  19. I presume you mean sex education. So you were one of the gigglers, were you?
  20. What on earth would possess anyone to imagine a luxury cruise line would play movies with full frontal nudity on the main pool deck?!
  21. Actually I rather think it would be the negative nellies from Cruise Critic who would be the tiny minority in a crowd.
  22. I'm in my 60s. I love Marvel. It was my generation and older who made the franchise famous. I seriously don't think you're considering anyone but yourself in this.
  23. I could empathize if the point you were making was that Marvel movies are not your favorites. But "odd choice"? C'mon. I'm willing to bet that 98% of the people sitting in those deck chairs are thrilled that there's a Spiderman they haven't seen yet up on that screen.
