Thank you!!π

Yes you want a beach excursion, yes sargassum is a problem. By the time you get to the beach at the Marriott it will already be cleaned up and it won't be an issue. Best beach on the island will be at the St. Kitts Marriott, don't worry about anything except having fun. Later

The Santa Barbara is now Sandals Curacao. They sell day passes to cruise ship visitors just like the Sandals on St. Lucia do. If anyone has anything new to add when it comes to spending my day at this resort again, any help would be appreciated. π

This sounds wonderful, PORT ROYAL if you weren't a salesman you should have been one. ππ

Hey thanks for the info. this excursion has become so popular Goffs Caye is a cash machine. It's hard telling what renovations and improvements they're making, I'm sure they figured it out looking forward to going back and seeing all the new upgrades. Clearest water anywhere near Central America the place is one of a kind. π

Thank you very much for the info and update on Coki. Appreciate it. π

Coki must have come a long way, it's been a very long time since I was by there but when I was it's definitely not one of the nicer beaches especially on STT. I certainly hope this is the case, I would love to go back to Coki and spend the day. Anyone know the status of any beach bars on Coki? Thanks.

Take the city bus to Eagle Beach spend your whole day on the beach. Beautiful Beach water is awesome. Great beach bar. Head back to the ship around 4pm-ish get a shower and change of clothes, head back out and have dinner and cocktails at Iguana Joe's. I did this for years lotsa fun and makes for a great long day. ππ

I didn't hear anything specific but if they're closing for a few months it would probably be to make some improvements or upgrades. The Goffs Cay excursion has become incredibly popular. I'm not sure when I return to Belize I would do anything else. We had a blast there a couple of times. π Some of the nicest water in Central America bar none. ππ

I don't know anything about snorkeling on Aruba. If you choose to do a beach day you want to take your family of 6 to Eagle Beach and spend your day. When you get off the ship walk outside the security area and directly across the street to the bus station, tell them you want to go to Eagle Beach cheap tickets I think $3 very easy very quick bus stops RIGHT ON Eagle Beach. Walk down the sidewalk they'll rent you palapas and chairs. Everything is there nicest beach on the island water is AWESOME, Amsterdam Manor Beach Bar one of the top 5 easily best beach bars in the southern Caribbean. Have fun. ππ

BTW our CC group in December 2011 we had 5 vans with Cosol, 4 full of people 1 van was a rolling bar, nothing but everything to drink unlimited bar. It was Killer!! When I finished drinking a Caribe Baptiste handed me 2 more. Drove to the falls and mud bath thingy up in the rainforest. Tons of people in the middle of a rainforest sun's out pouring the rain?π€π. Ice cold beers all day longππ Stayed wet the entire tour it was GREAT. There's no way whatsoever to stay dry in a rainforest. π.

How far is it from Bathsheba? Thanks!!

Highly recommend Barbados Scenic Tours. Our CC group did this quite some time back. It was a highlight of our vacation. Carlisle is a great beach beautiful water. If your the only ship in Port, Carlisle is a great day, two or more ships in Port The Boatyard and Lobster it's sardine can city. Just too many people for me. First trip take the tour the beach it's not going anywhere. π Go see Bathsheba it's worth it.

If this is your first time in both ports. Here goes it: Bonaire I would email Wim and take his sailboat the Woodwind over to Klein Bonaire and snorkel all day. Curacao either take a ship tour of the island or walk in town with everyone else, you'll figure it out. If you have to have a beach on Curacao I would email Sandals(formally the Santa Barbara) and see if they're selling day passes yet. Good luck.

That's A Party!!ππ -
My vote goes to the Wet Lizard I was here a few years ago. Right on the dock. Food was great. Chicken, steak, fish, kabobs on the grill were to die for. Beers ice cold, great vibe great location. We had a tour when I left for our tour this was the place to be. Great staff too. ππ

Yes ma'am Baptiste and Herod, Baptiste is the best tour guide on St. Lucia I had a BLAST with this guy twice. First timers on the island Cosol is the only way to go. Make sure Baptiste is your driver, I rode shotgun all day long drinking Caribes all day long it was one of the highlights of my vacation. ππ

Very well said I couldn't agree more. I think for those of us who feel this way and for those who don't have or use a passport we may have a different definition of travel. Thank you -
United States Passport Renewal. She's tricky π
TTEllis replied to dheat789's topic in Ask a Cruise Question
All of us are familiar with the "closed loop"π cruises. "Closed loop" cruises don't have anything to do with my decision to have a passport, actually it's been a very long time since I've heard "closed loop" cruises. I didn't know anyone based they're decision to get a passport on whether or not the cruise they're going on is "closed loop". I've seen it before no passport, TSA, US Customs and Border Patrol look at you funny and that's just for starters. Passport in hand completely eliminates any misunderstanding. I could never be without one. -
Ostriches and Donkeys on Aruba? Hmmmmm. I see some of you have lost your way. I can help you with just about anything when it comes to you spending your cruise ship visit on a beach or a resort on the island of Aruba. Ostriches and Donkeys you got me on this one. No zoo's on Aruba, just beautiful beaches and beautiful resorts.

Here's what you should do. Email Baptiste he'll be your tour guide, of Cosol Tours. This guy, the tour, the vans the whole excursion is top shelf from start to finish. First trip to St. Lucia, this is the only way to go. It's a whole day event, for your first time visiting this destination Cosol Tours and forget everything else. π
