Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. It should be under the Booking & Order Details tab, not the My Planner tab. That's where I've always found it anyway and select "Check In" once it becomes available.
  2. A very strange question. If the dish isn't being prepared that night and there's a whole menu of other things actually being prepared for that day, why on earth would they specially make something else just for you? Seems a bit entitled if you ask me. Simply wait and order it the next day! And if you missed out from a previous, it's life. You order off the menu you get! Can't help but thinking of the line "make it make sense!"
  3. I can say that on the Panorama which is the same class and which I sailed on last September it is free for lunch. And yes the lasagna included on the menu was sooo good, quite possibly the best I've ever had! Yummy!
  4. Just got off the Celebration and it was Deck 3 mid and forward on port days. Also got to catch the Jubilee in port with us one of the days and it was the same!
  5. I don't notice it. As an IT person myself It could be a plethora of causes whatever the issue and may not even be their website but your own device or connection that is the problem. There's so many variables involved it's not as simple as "their system" even if that's how the common folk may see it. My humble opinion is it's something on your end if it's occurring on multiple websites and happening routinely or regularly. Not all websites are handled by the same tech, equipment, network infrastructure, etc. Each cruise line would configure, manage, and administer their own (or outsourced to another company to do for them), so the fact it's occurring across different sites for you suggests an issue on your side perhaps with your own Internet connection at the time you experience it. Of course, connections are dynamic and constantly changing depending on resource usage and availability.
  6. Hmmmm interesting. At least you got to go somewhere! Some people are left on an actual, literal cruise to nowhere due to inclement weather that doesn't allow them to get off on any port. I guess we should just take what you can get because it can always be worse! And things could have gone wrong, which in your case they didn't.
  7. Doesn't sound appealing in the slightest. Cruising is what it is because it's a luxury, a vacation, something to be enjoyed on occasion. Not something you spend months on months doing, with it seemingly never ending (for 6+ months). That just sounds like hell to me peraonally, being stuck on a vessel in the middle of nowhere for months on end with thousands of random people who will run you over the soonest chance they get, and no where to get away or off unless you want to swim with the fish as shark bait! Cool for those who are into that I guess. I'll just stick with my few cruises every year where I can have a nice break from the motion and the endless people/crowds/lines/etc. after a few days! It's always more than enough for me.
  8. Then don't buy it. Don't get the complaints, it's a gift shop on a cruise ship of all places. Smh.
  9. Google is a great resource! As is the website for the cruise line you are sailing on. If you're not even going to attempt some research of your own first, at least complete a question that can actually be answered first. Because without the cruise line or ship name in question, this thread is moot.
  10. I got one today too for one that was a balcony but at the very front of the ship which I'm not a fan of. And for over $300! No thank you.
  11. Usually 24-48 hrs of debarkation for me. But within 72 hours or 1 week is what they say I think. Something like that.
  12. Yes, I've ordered Cuban coffees and other espresso drinks there. They're delicious! Havana Bar is open to all. And specialty coffee is included with Cheers!
